We always have a choice...

The other night Gerrie, Connie and I were walking to buy something when two guys stopped us and asked whether we speak english (because we are in a french speaking country). They come from Liberia and told us that they have been traveling for seven years because of the instability and war in their country.
They heard that matters have settled in their country and have been trying to get to an  liberian embassy. Unfortunately there isn't an embassy here and they asked us to help in anyway we could.

We have a very thin budget so we decided that it should come from personal money. I went back to those guys and told them that we could'nt do much but I could pray for them, cause the Lord had prompted it on my heart that even if we give nothing I should pray for them.

The next mornig we met up with them to give them some money for a bus ticket to Ghana where there is an embassy and the people speak english. They asked me to pray for them again and after thet we went our separate pathes.

The thing is, we made a choice to help these guys, we might never hear of them again, but we mad a choice to be obedient to the Lord. the Lord makes devine appointmants for us and He always gives us a choice to obey or not...

Remember that you could always be someone's bus ticket to Ghana... You just have to choose to obey.

Hoekom so stil? Wens ek kon die hele bedrag stuur wat jul benodig.
