Transkei travels

Transkei travels
We were priviledge enouth to visit the lovely people in the Transkei. At first we had to get there on our own from Jeffreys bay. This was the first official challenge we had and it was a lot of fun and a good way to learn more about our team which is the orange team. We were given R690 to get there which is about $120 for a 700km trip and we had to buy food and to various other tasks including hugging a pig and eating "run aways" which is boiled chicken feet. We started hicking to Humansdorp where...

Hi All After a long time that I have not writen a blog I am back and ready for the new "adventures" that God has placed before me. We are currently in South-America in Bolivia and is planning to go to Peru. We are on our Luke 10 journey but we have descided that we will approach this journey a bit differently that what we set out to do. We have descided to sit down and submit to God and listen what he has to say to us before we just go and do things. We set out from Sao Paulo in...

Getting to the end of Malaysia

Sitting here in the Internet shop and knowing that we have to say good bye to Malaysia and the people we met is heart braking. We did from the most basic of carrying computers to setting up servers and building websites. I still don't think that we know what kind of difference...

The time with my fellow workers was only 3 years but it feels like I knew them forever. I hope and pray that they all stay in touch and remember me everytime i write something new on this blog. For those of you that is going through the same thing: Good luck and GOD bless. For those of you that is still thinking and not...

The get together...

For us as orange team this was a pretty hard time since half of as stayed in Thailand and the rest of us went to Malaysia. I can however say that joining up again was great and we instantly started to share stories and felt back at home. We surprised the girls with some orange juice, balloons and yes chocolates.   We also made food for the south bound and it was a great success. We decided as south bound to do this so we can save on expenses and as we found out on time as well. It also...
