With much anticipation we arrived in the all famous country of Jamaica,where Bob Marley and reggae was born,country of my childhood heroes like Asafa powell and Usain Bolt. Cuba will be remembered as a country caught up in the past. Movie scene streets, 60c ice cream, classical old model cars and hearts warmer than the street pizza on offer. My outlook on hosting people will never be the same. During our stay in brasil we were reguraly confronted with the awkward situation of random people that didnt speak our language, and have nothing in common, but still will take us into their homes, feed us, spoil us and didnt want anything in return. I remeber getting off at the airport in Panama and almost tearing up when I saw a Toyota Hilux in thr parking bay. Even though Cuba was a phenominal experience, there was something comforting in seeing vehicles and technology we are use to, it felt like home.
