God has blessed me with many highs this month. The country I most looked forward to was China, and my experience far exceeded my expectations.  As you are aware, China is a tricky place to share the Good News. We sure had more than our fair share of tricky situations with the police almost on a daily basis, but even through that God put us strategically in positions  where he wanted us. You don't always realize this at the time, but now sitting at the airport-looking back in retrospect-God planned our trip to a T!

  While in Zambia, we had the opportunity to go to the local village school, and each team had a class to “entertain.” The red team was lead to teach the kids to keep their eyes on Jesus - no matter what. We assembled all the brown toilet rolls to make binoculars as props for each kid. (To the dismay of some, I robbed everyone’s full rolls of their carton bit-hehe!) The teaching went great-it looked like the kids had immense fun jumping up and down. We gave them a prerogative like: “When you are sad,” and they would eagerly...

When we came in for landing at Auckland, New Zeeland the words in Genesis came to mind: “...fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” The New Zealanders sure grasp this. And I thought that even though everyone does not have a relationship with the Lord, we are created in God’s image, and He gave us the knowledge and know how to rule over nature and subdue it without destroying it.
