PINK TEAM: PJ, Wessel, Luzaan and Vix. We ROCK!!! No, no really, we do! There was a man of God that spoke a word over our team:"Grace team. Kids team..bunch of kids around team."FUN", magnet that will draw many to God." The coolest thing is most of us in the group are good with Kids (Some of us thought that we might take the year off from children's ministry- But obviously has other plans) We have already experienced so much of God's grace and favour upon us.In challenges He has blessed and protected us. I have lived the life many people only dream of. Traveled to distant lands, been on great adventures, slept under the stars, jumped off waterfalls, snorkeled in one of the most beautiful reefs in the world, rode in\on almost any mode of transport imaginable, including camels and an elephant, climbed to the top of mount Saini to watch the sun set. I know what it is to love and be loved unconditionally. I have seen revival in the hearts of little children and shared the laughter of an old lady, who was healed and able to walk again... the list...
Hey Guys I figured one should do a bit of "self training" before you do something like Global challange-So I learn't to fish. It took great courage and dicipline to brave the EARLY morning and the stormy seas,(we got soaked) but it was worth it. So, I learn't a valuable lesson: If there's fishing to be done this year, get one of the other team members to do...
This has been two very interesting weeks! But Awesome! We've been fixing a little (over 700 junior children) rural school 2km out side of JBay. Our first job was strapping on rubber gloves and digging sewerage out of blocked toilets (I say we strapped on the gloves, cause there's no ways you want that glove to come off!) Hens the title of my blog- I've done many grose things but this one was by far the worst! I didn't include a photo 'cause I want you to be able to enjoy your supper tonight:) Our team then got assigned the playground - The playground consisted mostly of garbage and...

This is not only a physical journey but this is also where the Lord is taking me emotionally and spiritually. " What Joy for whose strength comes from the Lord, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem" Psalm 84:5 Once a year God's people would travel to Jerusalem- WHY- because that's where the temple\the presence of God was. In God's presence there is fulness of Joy. I have by no means arrived-...
