Before leaving for the nations we had some time in Johannesburg. We served at Gereformeerde church in Linden, but our team, Hidden Paths, was blessed with an opportunity to go too Potchefstroom for a week while the other teams was back at the "hallelujah house" where we then after Potchefstroom also severed.
In Potchefstroom we did various things, marketing, leading worship, evangelism, serving at a home group sell and last but not least we did a little bit of manual labor around the pastor's new house.
In Linden we did alot of ministry, but my favorite one was the senior ministry. We went to them to share who we are and share testimony, but at the end we got so blessed with all their stories, prayer, snacks and just the love these old people had for us the minute we stepped into the room.
Although Johannesburg was not in the original plans God really had His hands in it. We grew as a team closer to each other and I definitely grew as an individual. God really used this time in South Africa to sort out the last stones in my life before the nations.
I realized that this year is not going to be easy and if I am going to try doing it in my own strength I will fall. But I know that Jesus will not send me into His Nation if I am not ready.
I'm sitting in Brazil now writing this blog, so I am ready.

Sjoe, yes Clarissa, our original plans don't always work out, but may you learn to trust on a way deeper level this year! No matter what might change - keep your eyes on Him, and stay right beside Him. He's still rolling stones.
