The Quest: Grasp the adventure
Our latest Local Challenge was held at WUK week (Wereld uitreik konferensie);
witch is on campus of North West University, Potchefstroom.
Twenty teams entered and all where set for a whole 24hours of fun, serving in the community, unselfish giving and lots of laughter. Teams where challenged to sleep in a different community than their own and to be part of the community project called: Hope Village. At Hope village they had to plant vegetables, make bricks and spent time with the kids.

After sleeping in “a new friends” house, singing the Alma Mater in front of the main building, fasting for the homeless people, giving someone a makeover, reading through the whole book of Luke and lots more the teams got together at Potchefstoom dam. Here we read through Matthew 14.
28 Lord, if it’s you, “Peter replied, tell me to come to you on the water.& rdquo; 29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. “
The students of Potchefstroom got out of the boat! They walked on water! They had the courage to GO FOR IT! Jesus was with them all the time. We praise God for all the conversations that took place, all the people that where reached and the wonderful work that was done at Hope village.
Greetings,
Charmaine
