I remember my dad once wrote me a dramatic monologue to perform entitled "You need to climb the mountain to reach the star". How true those words are! Not funny at
all that I were thinking on these when Sac took us up a mountain to see some waterfall ... Sac, it was worth every muscle-stretching step and thought of murder!!
What an AMAZING sight was waiting for us at level 3 (apparently there's 8 levels ... Ha! Wonder what thoughts that would have caused ...) We got lost in the all-overwhelming sound of water surrounding us, the view of huge boulders with water crashing through on the one side, and dense green forests as far as the eye can see on the other side!
I just spend a good amount of time sitting and chatting with my best Friend. Just realizing once again that we will never be able to grasp how big and full of love He really is - BIG, to think, design and orchestrate all this, and ultimate LOVE, to place this among those who do not even acknowledge Him, and treat them with it ... and to bring His child to this moment where time stops, praise comes naturally, and a soul is being revived! The often quoted words of Psalm 23 just became a major reality, sitting there and knowing that indeed He does "make me lie down in green pastures", "leads me beside quiet waters" and, above all ... "he restores my soul"! Thank you, Lord, I'm forever grateful!
