HIGH TIDE ON A LOW TIDE

I can't describe how good God is to each one of us.

(LUKE 10 JOURNEY)

I woke up with a different kind of joy than I ever have, and I just couldn't stop talking to God about this joy I was experiencing. This particular morning was unique, it was not ordinary. Almost as if it were a super supernatural day. It was quite unorthodox as nothing quite significant really had happened throughout the last 24 hours.

Sarah, Jo's wife whom was one of our people of peace, took me by the hand and said "market". I hopped onto the back of her scooter without having told anyone, and we drove off. As we were on our way to the colorful food market, driving through Phuket town, Thailand, with a woman I have known for less than 48 hours, this sensation of overwhelming euphoria and freedom washed over my mind, and I just felt more free than I ever have in this simple moment of existence.

It was quite strange as I was only driving on a scooter. I've done so much more exhilarating, adrenaline rush, blood pumping things, but this joy I've never experienced and for the first time I understood that the joy of the Lord is my strength.

Find joy in the simple.

Do things you wouldn't usually do once in a blue moon if, of course, you have peace about it. There is always an adventure with Pappa.

This same day, we worshipped with the team. As I was singing in tongues I could hear drums and angels singing and I saw God, I saw how I was dancing with Him and how everyone was filled with factual joy.

When we got into bed that evening, we put off our lights and someone knocked on our door. It was our lady of peace, Yoyo. "C'mon" she said "we are taking you out for Thai pudding" There we went, for a late jight pudding in the center of Phuket city.

I thought that Luke 10 was going to be a time where we were going to suffer. I actually underestimated myself and God before this but it was a glorious time, filled with laughter from the gut with tears that roll, the best food I have eaten in my life, relationship building, vivid visions, and it was a brutally good teacher.

Now, I know that my heading probably does not suite the body of this blog, but I'm glad it caught your eye.

There are 24 days left before flying to South Africa after +-7 months being in 14 foreign countries across South East Asia, Africa, Middle East and a bit of Europe thrown in there aswell and words cannot describe what Jesus does in you through the nations.
