'GOD IS LIGHT IN HIM THERE IS NO DARKNESS'
"Can't you see?" the he said to me, "See what?" I asked. "That you are white washed, you are clean," then he continued "Will you give it to me?..." Totally confused by this question I asked: "What, what do you want me to give? My life? Is that the right answer?... What is it that you ask of me?".
"Your darkness" he replied.
"What darkness and how do I give it? Why do you want it anyway?"
He answered me after awhile "Your rejection, your sadness, your pain. I want it. I paid a very high price for it. With my own blood, I want it!"
Then He said: "My child be ready to receive." What? What is He talking about? Then He said: "I asked the Father to give you the Spirit, who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know Him. Open your minds then to receive His light, so that you may know the hope to which he has called you."
Through this journey I've learned that God was always there and that He has been ready to bless me with every spiritual blessing! My mind was just never open to receive it...
How can we expect to blessed by spiritual blessings if our hearts are focused on everything we see? I learned that to really know the Holy Spirit, you have to completely give up and let Him do the work for you. We are dead in our sins anyways. I've realized that the only way to get to the Father was through Him and not my any of my own efforts to get to Him. I guess I knew this ALL along but never really did it sank in that I have to STOP trying and START believing.
