Birthday blessings in Malaysia

It was my birthday on the 26^th of April and what a blessed day I had. God really blessed me in more ways than I could ever think of. He is so good!

Starting the day at about 6:30 I started to prepare to leave the Malaysian Hostel we were staying in. We were on a challenge and my group still had a few tasks we had to complete. Getting to the girls room I was greeted with a huge bag of South African Sour Worms! My team leader had been carrying this favorite snack of mine all the way from South Africa for almost 5 Months! What an awesome surprise! God was only starting with the blessings. Getting to the subway we were greeted by the Yellow and Blue team and all of a sudden they all started singing “Lekker verjaar ou maat” to me in the Malaysian subway! It had really been one of my desires to be with the whole team on my birthday and God never fails to provide, even in the small things. Waiting at the ticket line in the Malaysian Twin Towers all the teams started to pitch up, one after the other. What a privilege it was to be able to go up to the Sky Bridge of the Malaysian Twin Towers on my Birthday? God even took it one step further and brought all the whole team together on that very day! The day just got better. Spending great time at the Culture center making some Malay “Batik” spending most of the day at the Twin Towers waiting to take some sunset pictures and spending our evening in Burger King with bottomless coke and free internet.

God really blessed me on my birthday and I can only give Him all the glory and praise.
