Life after death, what kind of death? Well the death that matters, the death of oneself, the death that allows God to take full control.
Are you at this stage? Or are you going through the stage where you are right, where you are not open for change. Let me explain to you how the "leader lists" went in my Northbound 2011:
God, Jesus, Holy Spirit
GCEX Leaders
Project Leaders
Small Team Leaders
"Vice"-Small Team Leaders
Pee - Ons (in other words..me)
Yes I was the ultimate pee-on, its the best place to be, because you learn humility the way God intends you to learn it. Global teaches you "Servant Leadership". This is the ultimate leadership, why? Because thats what Jesus did, He served, THE KING OF KING SERVED! We are all Christ bearers and therefor we should all SERVE and SERVE with an OPEN HEART!
When we serve other cultures it opens there hearts to hear what our purpose is, and what is the purpose of being a Christ bearer? Its a real simple answer....to bear Christ. If the toilet needs scrubbing then put your hand up and do it even before people ask for volunteers. Think of the famous saying "What Would Jesus DO?"
After my Global year I went straight back into my old life and I just viewed all my friends and what was going on around me at the parties, I really saw a lot of sin, sin that died in Global. My heart broke for them and I was asked if I wanted to do something called "MAD year" here in Pretoria with Every Nation. I now work among the students at TUKS and reach out to them, I am a missionary in my own country, and its awesome!
Living full-time is such a faith project in itself trusting God for money and for provision, is something that doesn't come naturally but rather supernaturally, and I am enjoying it so much, I was never much for making a lot of blogs, or long blogs, and even blogs that make sense aren't even my thing so just a word of encouragement: "God rewards those who work hard, and by example, the leadership ladder is determined by how much you are willing to lay down for God and Bare Christ, go forth and serve the leaders, serve the servants, but most of all serve YOUR GOD!!!"
God bless all your journeys, even if you are just a viewer of the blogs, we all have our own journeys and sometimes others need to stay and others need to go. So go forth in whatever your journey is, and SERVE!!!
