"By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work." (1 Cor. 3 : 10-13)
What a privilege to build a house for some people here in Panajachel. When we started the project we were amazed to find that we had to start at the foundation. Some of the previous Global Challenge groups had the foundation allready build and could only start with the building. I truly experienced this as a unique opportunity to pray for this building cite. We truly prayed that Jesus would be the foundation which this household will be build on and that every stone that is used and cemented in will be blessed by Him.
It is amazing to see how many scriptures we can find in the bible about the foundation and how important it truly is within our walks with Christ our Saviour. Without a strong foundation that is founded on Christ our lives become unstable and may crumble and fall.

The building process continued and we saw more and more principles of God being included within the laying of the foundation. We had to mix the Cement that flows alongside the rocks to make the foundation strong. I truly see this as symbolizing the Holy Spirit where it flows within the deepest parts and alongside Jesus we find ourselves standing on the fermest foundation possible.
When we make Jesus our Rock and truly build our lives upon Him, we will find that we are capable to stand any test. Even the test of fire. The more we build on Jesus and follow the Holy Spirits guidance on what material to use we will find ourselves standing the test of fire in the end. So stand ferm in and on Jesus as your Rock and Salvation because He gave His all for you. Know that God is always near you and will never leave nor forsake you even in the toughest situations because you are cemented within Christ.
May God bless you and keep you
