The Pilgrimage - True North
If you will permit me I would love to take the time and reflect on our North Bound journey and what we have been doing.
The beginning of understanding in this instance would be knowledge of the vision. Us as students only receive the framework of the journey and that makes it unexpected, new and exciting, which is great! Among other things the North Bound journey is about faith, stepping into the unknown. By living the framework us students endurance is tested and brother James refers to this when he states endurance builds faith.

The vision of the North Bound journey is pilgrimage a term I understand but somehow missed its relevance to what we were doing. A good question then would be to answer what have we been doing? North Bound have been reading and studying the Word of God according to the old testament and the gospels. We have been taught on biblical time lines, exegesis, hermeneutics, homelitics and been physically exposed to Mount Sinai and the Lake of Galilea.

It was only after the North Bound teams did their group teachings on the Assyrian, Babalonian and Persian kingdoms that the penny finally dropped for me. Our North Bound journey is a pilgrimage of Gods Word and work. It is a pilgrimage of understanding, applying and amazement when we are able to connect the dots of Gods word, revealing to us His great plan and love for us little by little.
