Deep in the heart of China

35 hours later...

By Herman  - 22 March 2008

CHINA Last time we could get something out to the rest of the world was in Macau. We left for our destination on Monday, taking a few busses and a 35 hour train to get to our final destination.
We had some more trouble getting through to one of the provinces...

We have been staying in a hotel in china for the last few days. This has really beenSeater train... great and God has really provided wonderfully.

Thing are really great here, the food/noodles are great, ice cream is really cheap and everything else is really fake and really cheap. :-) We have really been lead to just spend time here to pray for this town. We have set up a 24 hour prayer chain and will be keeping it going for the rest of our time here, and maybe even the rest of our All the ladies in China.time in China. We are spending a lot of time in the town, just living out Jesus in the town. As the language barrier is a bit of a problem and the only person who can speak a bit of English in the whole town is at our hotel.

We had lots of trouble with the internet as we are foreigners and have to register with the police for a card to be able to use the The Guysinternet cafe, luckily after hours of prayer God has provided us with a wireless signal from somewhere.

The police has really been very strict and has been keeping a close eye on us. They are only doing this to protect us and keep us away from the conflict areas as the Olympics are also getting closer.

We will be sending out a prayer request list later today, so please keep us in your prayers.
