Encounters, lessons and growth.

I'm no poet or writer, but I would love to share with you what I learn and experience through the my journey and how God works in insane ways.

Dusty blue sky

Ahh Middle East, what an awesome place! I'm so stoked that I had the privilege of serving the people of crossroads. I'm really liking the tea a lot it's like a mix between rooibos and normal tea, it's perfect!

I thought that we would be doing intense physical labor, but actually we just helped out with whatever needed to be done! Us guys got to play soccer with the kids every Saturday but because their culture requires men to wear pants we had to play in our jeans, and that made things a bit heated, and these kids completely wrecked us in soccer! But the biscuits we got at break time were worth it! Going on visits to meet all the people that needed help and we got to share stories with, my eyes have really been opened to the reality of the situations that these people are in!.. I really learnt how to serve in not doing anything. Just sitting with the people and drinking tea is something they really love and enjoy, playing with the people's kids and making them feel the love!! I really journeyed being humble and accepting what Is put in my path, which I'm still journeying on haha, but I'm getting there. It was such a pleasure to make new friends that I will remember forever and the food here is insanely good I ate more here than I've ever eaten.

I'm just so happy that I was a part of this place and got to see some of its awesomeness! I'm sad I'm leaving it but excited for the next place !!!!
