There are times in our year’s journey of the greater Southbound team that the magnificent 14 will be divided. Among these smaller groups, is the “blue team.”
Gerhard,- Previously an accountant and living a hectic life of running his B&B with his brother, Gerhard laid to rest the life of the business world to be part of the Global Challenge vision. Faced with challenges, this guy’s middle name is perseverance. He puts the authentic in authenticity. He is the chill in the chillax. He is Mr. Blue man.
Helen- After graduation from university, Helen was keen to travel the world. Her friend “google” helped her find her way all the way from New Zealand to Global Challenge. Now she is the only kiwi on the team. If you ever need a brief commentary on a topic, a fresh perspective on life or a light spoken
word of encouragement, this little lady is the one for the job.
Betty- Living life as an architect student was pretty cool, but Betty saw that there were a need for some structure to be built in her life. So she set aside this year to join Global Challenge. If you are looking for a friendly smile, a big hug, or you need a bite of biltong, Betty is your lady.
Heather- Homegrown in the farm land of Alabama, Heather had a different kind of labor in mind. Now part of the Global Challenge family, she is ready to share her southern hospitality with the world. If you are looking for a smile, a laugh, or someone just to drink coffee with, this southern belle is your lady.
With strength and honor as our theme, together we will travel the world. Together we will encourage and speak truth. Together we will proclaim the name of Jesus with prayer, love and boldness.
