Fantastic Journey of Faith

Although my journey of faith only starts in 2013 - it feels like it already has. To see God's provision for my team members and myself thus far has been amazing! As He is preparing my heart for next year - I am just reminded of the gentleman that He is! If I look back at all the miracles, testimonies and great things He has done, helped me through and blessed me with in my life so far, I stand in awe. I believe that next year will be no different!
I have gained new respect for the words "faith" and "obedience" as this is what God has been teaching me more about the last couple of months and even though it might not be the easiest lessons to learn, I believe it is worth it, for I know God and He always keeps His promises! (Just like He reminded me through Ps 84 again this morning while praying about my finances) Therefore, I choose to walk in faith and obedience and invite you to do the same - it is totally worth it!! :) *Blessings!

I think i'm only coming to the realisation of what God has called me to as His child now. Saying that - it is still a journey. What it means to say "yes" and what He means when He tells me to go.

We spent most of our lives without knowing the full truth about who we are without Jesus, how rotten and evil our true nature really is and also without the full truth about what Jesus really did and what He enables us to do when He calls us.

I am finding myself at a place where God showed me that I, Charne Vorster, met the Holy All Mighty God face to face in a way I will never be able to convert into words - yet I still find myself living a mediocre chilled lifestyle. A life where I am passive - like I am waiting for something "huge" to happen to change my grey-scale life - BUT that something, rather, that SOMEONE DID HAPPEN!!! So what am I waiting for?!

When I read about Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, Job, Moses etc - it sounds AMAZING and almost impossible - like those kind of things only happen in stories, movies or in those times...
But the Bible is written FOR US! For NOW!
When Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:18&19 to GO, He gives us authority. He says again in Matthew 10:8 to "Bring health to the sick. raise the dead. Touch the untouchable. kick out demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously." (TM)

In John 10:10 jesus says that "The thief(devil) comes to steal, kill and destroy. I(Jesus) came to give life and life in abundance!!!" - That is what He tells us! That is life!

For most of my life I either lived witjout Him or with only half the truth about Him and of who I am in and through Him. The other part I lived with the enemy stealing life from me, stealing my part of being ACTIVELY partaking in God's Kingdom - missing out on the ABUNDANT LIFE He already gave me!!!

When we were in colombia, God already started speaking to me concerning living life "half"... But today I made the decision and declaration that I WILL LIVE AN ABUNDANT LIFE because of what Jesus has done and who I am in and through His Spirit living inside of me!!! May He move me like He says in Ezekiel 36:26.

I will walk in boldness, even if I might look or sound crazy to the world. i will expect God to move like He did with Philip and Paul in Acts or do crazy things like in the Old Testament - because HE IS GOD!
Yesterday, today and tomorrow the same!!!

I am tired of waiting for "one day", for "someone" or "something". I am tired of compromising the truth and of living a mediocre life. I am ready to LIVE LIFE NOW!!

I will be a Joshua, a Joseph, a Moses, an Elijah, Elisha, Esther, Paul, a Peter and all those other crazy people who lived their lives to the full!!!

Thank You Jesus!

For those that don't know me - I am so inlove with Jesus! I am finishing my studies in Developmental Growth and Child Psychology as well as Child Day Care this year. After 3 years of practical and work experience in schools, youth ministres, art and studies - I am ready for the faith adventure!
