Day 3 - Orange Team

Written by Paul du Plessis, compiled by the whole team.
9:30pm .... Masaiti..... FCE
WE are here!!!!!
The challenge was awesome, but now we have to wait for our other team-mates. God was with us all the way!!!!
Last night we were on a bus from Livingston to Lusaka. That was pure luxury. 122pm we received cool drinks and snacks!!!, better service than in SA. This morning at 4am we arrived at Lusaka, where it was still dark. We unloaded, and we searched for Marks Travel bus. We found another bus, but to our dismay we didn’t depart as we would have liked to.

Instead of leaving at 6 am like promised, we departed after 9am, leaving us very irritated. The bus driver had to wait to get the bus full, and couldn’t depart until it was full to the brim. HEHEHEHEH.  We finally drove out of Lusaka on our way to Luanshya. Man, what a trip.

The bus was very corrupt. Just before a weighing bridge, the bus driver stopped and offloaded some people, weighed the bus and later picked them up again. We didn’t understand at first, but we found out that they got into a taxi, went ahead and cheated the weighing people.  This was very funny afterwards.
The most annoying thing was all the stops the bus made. It stopped for no reason, then wait for 2 people to smoke, and then ride further.

We got of at Luanshya, very glad to be off and safe as well.  Just as we got off, we didn’t know where to now. But just as hopelessness came, God provided. He sent a man who helped us on a mini taxi that didn’t charge as much as taxis charge, and he also “saved” us from prying hands.
Guess what!!! Petrol cost R12-13.00 p litre!!!!

On our next taxi to Masaiti Village, God sat us next to a policeman, and he then helped us to get the cheapest taxi again.
We arrived at the Farming institute at 4pm, and we were very tired. God blessed our entire journey! So we just have this to share. Keep your eyes on the ORANGE TEAM!!!!

We all love God and we wish that you can experience what we have experienced from God. He provides when we can’t even think of how we are going to get to the next point. Praise His name.
