Day 2 - Orange Team

Day 2!!! WOW, again God is Good, amazing, exciting!!!!!!!

We arrived in Kasane at about 8am Wednesday morning! We hiked for 1km before we met John who gave us a lift on the back of a sand lorry.
We were heading towards the Zimbabwe-border. We went through with no problems. We then walked right into our first pothole!!!hehhehe.
We started to negotiated with the drivers to go to Victoria falls. They wanted $100!!! that was so funny, only because we were very tired!
Tired in a way because we slept on a bus, but had walked for almost 3km with our backpacks on.

My backpack weighs about 24kg. But anyways.
We negotiated with all the drivers until we met Bastori. We think that was his name. He dived a blue Toyota. that was the coolest experience ever!!!!
We negotiated, and when he heard we were missionaries, he said 100 pula would be sufficient. We arrived there, and in one of the photo's you can see how compact they can pack.
All our packs were in that small boot!!! And on top of the boot he fixed a 20l petrol tank !!! That was also funny. Halfway there, (70km to Vic falls from Zimbabwe border),
it started to rain. No the driver stopped in the middle of the road, where he drived the hole way!!!! He climbed out, and pulled the windows up. He fixed my front window with a screwdriver, by jamming it in between the glass and the door!!!
He tried to fix the one where Herman sat, but Herman had to keep the window up all the way with his hands.
We arrived at Vic falls, and the driver left us there. We had to walk 2km to the Zimborder, and another 2 - 3 km to the Zambian border. That was very tiring! It started to rain as we walked to to border. At the Zambia border we had to pay entry fees of $25 p person, which we didn’t have. We prayed,
and we completed the forms, gave them in, received our passports and went on without paying!!!! God saved us there!!!!!
We had to walk to Vic falls, another few km.

There we had the most incredible time ever!!! I wish everyone in the world can see that sights!!!!!!!
There is really no words to describe what we saw!!!!!Just look at the photo's.

After that we caught a lift to Livingston, There we waited for 4 hours for our bus to Lusaka. That bus was the best bus of our entire journey.
We received drinks and snacks on the bus. all for a merely K60 000 (kwatjas), which relates to about R120.
nWe were helped the whole time by Chris, a friendly local Christian. He organized most of our stuff, helped with the currency translation and other stuff.
We boarded the bus and slept all the way to Lusaka.

That was day 2
