Israel.
What can we say. Our lives were impacted. Impacted firstly because we came to know that we were not in Israel because we wanted to be, we were in Israel because God invited us to be there. In His holy land.
All of us experienced a walk with Jesus. His footsteps, our footsteps becoming one. We realized that none of us had the same experience, God personally came and met each one of us where we were at. Exactly when He wanted to and how He wished to do so.
Israel is really, truly the Holy land of God. We found it weird to walk around in the old city of Jerusalem, visiting the Western Wall, the Upper Room etc. and a few kilometers away a huge wall separated the country.
Moving across the barrier we found a whole different "country" it was a radical change in culture. From honoring Shebat to hearing mosques at 4:00am in the morning.
Bethlehem was amazing, in a complete other perspective than Jerusalem. We did manual labor for a week after being spiritually pampered for a week.
Even the physical gave God an opportunity to build in each of our personalities. God is amazing. How can we ever explain?
We simply know that God met each of us, loved on each of us and changed each of us.
