The Kingdom of Cambodia...

Firstly, we stand before the Lord, giving Him all the thanks and honour for bringing us to the so called “Kingdom of Cambodia.” As it was our first time in Cambodia, we as a team didn’t really have  anything to prepare us for the country itself; except to come in faith and to put all our trust in Him for guidance and to use us as a team to do great things for Him here in the country.   Secondly; we were priveledged to be taken in by a wonderful family who served us with open arms by blessing us...

India has been a blessing!

India was a beautiful platform to start off as our first country. We learned some valuable lessons and really experienced God’s favour and provision for the team. What was really interesting and heartbreaking about this nation was that most of the people are looking for something to worship, but are blinded to the one and only true God. It was a challenge to see the person as a person and not the idolatry. But fact is that they are God’s people and it’s His country and He loves them. We have been so privileged to be part of God’s story...

Russia!

we arrived in Krasnoyarsk on the second of July. Our team was divided into two: four of us stayed in Krasnoyarsk to present African Cultural evenings to the Russians. This made us really homesick. The fist week was very busy. During the morning, we planned and worked out a program for the evening and in the afternoon we played sports. During the cultural evenings we talked about our different foods, cultures, cities and history. We even demonstrated some dances like kwaito and sokkie...we also performed Waka Waka....ALOT. During this first week, we had some time to minister to the people...

Effortless Evangelism Part 3

GOD IS SO GOOD!!! Thank you for reading His miracles again. In this entry we see God working in a small small town in Russia called "Divnogorsk" this is a beautiful town and reminds me a lot of Hermanus, the town where I come from. I was very reluctant to go but upon our arrival we were met by the local pastor, who pastors the most beautiful church, probably in the world! Anyway we were there to help with some street ministry, incase you don't know what this is then I will explain:  We make a big circle and we...

Lost in translation: "Is that fish paste or caramel?"

Firstly I would like to apologize for the short blogs, but there had seemed to be a problem when I use the "read more" button, so this time I will not use it. After a very challenging season, where our team got really tested in China, we went off to Russia. To be truly honest, I was not looking forward to Russia, I mean not compared to all the other countries. In fact I thought Russia was still communism, and believe me its not anymore. Anyway I might be giving away my IQ, so we landed in a place called...
