India is hectic.   For the first week, we were in Delhi, doing some serious bible studying.  Then we took a train to a big orphanage. Our goal there was to repaint the inside of the boys hostel and to provide a new set of undies for each child, along with chilling with the kids, and hosting an evening program every night. Except for one thing..we didn’t have any money to do this         So we scraped,  sanded and painted in faith, trusting that our Father is The Provider.  And after only 5 days of fund raising...

While our first week in Nepal we focused on encouraging the churches, the second week we focused on adding to them. After a six hour bus ride to Pokhara we immediately started walking to unreached villages, sharing the truth with the people and handing out tracts written in Nepali. We had some great conversations and people were usually willing to listen to us. God really protected us there because after we got back Ben (The Nepali missionary we stayed with) told us that the people in those villages usually attack Christians and he had been too scared to go until now....

Nepal has been wild so far In the past week we've spent much time with the Church here. Encouraging our family in Christ. The team split up into 2 groups. 7 of us visited house fellowships everyday and attended a few different church services. Bringing the Word of God and seeing people set free! Experiencing the Lord's favor. While the other 4 hiked 8 hours up a mountain to the village of Chepang. There they also attended church service and prayed and encouraged the new believers! Jesus called us, He called Roelof, Ilze and Lume together, He gave us authority to cure diseases, to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He told us:” Go, take no money I will provide” God was our everything! We all can testify of what God did for us. The people of BiH (Bosnia Herzegovina) say they have no lyrics to accompany the instrumental of their national anthem but I suggest they consider the title of this blog as it best echoes the healthy and appropriate season of rest and relaxation that is currently found in this nation.   We spent our time in Croatia on a farm called Camp Focus. It’s a place of anointment with beautiful green forests and hills. During our time in Croatia God provided for us, he stirred us, embraced us and equipped us. God’s presence and peace was so tangible. We had such a blessed time. We helped out at kids, family and youth camps and did some hard physical labour. The people we met were really amazing. Ex-drug addicts who are now on their knees worshipping God. 65% of their church consists out of ex-drug addicts, that’s how church should look...

Northbound (Croatia team, we are divided between Croatia and Bosnia at this point in time) is currently at the Kamp Fokus, which is a campsite owned by the Evangelical Church of Split. It is located about 170km from Split and it is in the beautiful Croatian mountains. The team is currently helping out in the kitchen, we are responsible for the kid’s games at the camps, we will help with building of the bungalows and we are sharing God’s Story in our lives by doing dramas and testimonies at night around the campfire! God is truly moving mightily in the kid’s hearts, as well as the parents and camp staff!

 

Do we really grasp the importance of one single prayer? How many times have we been saved by someone’s prayer without you knowing or how many times have we saved someone by one single prayer by being obedient to God , maybe a prayer out of pure desperation and if you ask something  God will most probably give it to you, in his perfect time.  Thailand is beautiful it looks like a painting coming to life.   We fell in love with the people of Thailand and its beauty!       On our journey we have no choice but to trust God completely for His provision and protection over us where ever we go, because there is no plan B. We had to trust God completely for everything in Phuket and God gave us more than what we needed.
