Such a powerful song. Abba I belong to You! You're more real than the ground I'm standing on, more real than the air in my lungs.
My Abba. Father. Wow.
John 1: 12-13
12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
It was a shock to me when I first heard that the holy Koran has 99 names for God, yet there is not one where God is love.
Are we not here because of God's love? Completely useless. Of no meaning. No importance. Fragile little beings.
Yet God loves us with His Father heart. You're a Good Good Father.
I've been asking God to break my heart for what breaks His. The result was painfully beautiful. It started with;
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Sending Your one and only Son to be crucified. To bare the sin of creatures who are of no significance. Seeing Jesus on the cross changed how I think in a big way. Painfully beautiful. Painfully powerful. This is my beautiful Jesus.
The perfect sacrifice. Who's blood not only covers our sins but erases it completely. This is my painfully beautiful Jesus.
How much God loves us. Sending Jesus who is high and lifted up to bare our sins.
Oh how God loves us to send Jesus who is high and lifted up to bare our sins.
