First challenge for Work your way

Preach the gospel at a venue. Bring back at least 5 pounds.

Team 1
Hanno, Erns and I went to a map at a bus stop. Just to see what is in the area. We felt God is sending us to the Salvation Army. We went there to see if we can preach to somebody there. It was not open yet, so we had 2hours to walk around in London. We were on our way to Kings Road. We saw a church and went in. Hanno started to talk to a lady. After a while she invited us upstairs where the church auditorium is. She made us coffee and gave us cookies. Then she started telling her life story to us. That was amazing. She was born in Nepal. She was married when she was 7. Somebody in her family slit her throat and stole her earrings. She was left for dead. She gained consciousness and walked 2 days to get to a hospital. The Doctors said if she arrived 5min later at the hospital she would have died. The hospital was run by missionaries. Long story short, she came to Christ later in India.
We went back to the Salvation Army. They had a pensioner’s lunch. So we asked if we can serve in any way and preach. So that is what we did. The first thing they asked of us was to mingle with the old people during lunch. So we chatted with them over a 3 course meal. We washed some dishes and helped handing stuff out. And then Hanno led 3 songs in worship. Erns and I shared our testimonies and how God worked in our lives. The pastor also said a few words. One person recommitted his life to God. So we were so happy. The whole day was just a blessing.
