"Now go, and remember that I am sending you out as lambs among wolves" - Luke 10:3 They say it's easier said than done. And sometimes they may even say it's crazy. And who could blame them? If I was still on the outside looking in, I might have said the same. Yet now I am on the inside looking out. And I am not alone. I am with my shepherd. He is sending us, His sheep, out among the wolves once more. Never in my life would I have ever thought I'd be the one to say that in...

The H A R D facts about traveling During a mid year de-briefing in a parent visit to our team, we were asked to answer and share the next 11 questions. Here follows a non mystical approach to my experience up till now 1. The weirdest and most horrible thing that I have eaten or drunk on this journey. Surprisingly the most horrible drink, was a strong canned malt drink served in a slum in Guyana. The drink tasted like molasses with a soy Souse type of consistency. The weirdest fruit was in Cuba, it looked like a brown skinned...
Cuba is classic and timeless. It is the combination of buildings and cars stuck in time, the classical jazz music in the back ground, the smell of cigars and the open hearts of the people that made my experience there unforgettable and one of kind. Absolutely everything is beautiful there. The ocean, the buildings, the people and the food. The ocean is blue with palm trees, the works; thus you still feel like you are on an island. The buildings are tall and closely built together with small streets and big windows with wooden frames. Classical European style....
Panama + America = Panamerica Panama country number 7 in a life changing/ molding trip of a life time. We arrived in the Canal Zone town of Gamboa on a bus that was paid for by a man from Belgium who heard about us from Pastor Bill (our host) and decided with out meeting us he would like to sponsor all the transport we needed while in Panama. What a blessing! Pastor Bill was waiting for us with his wife Anne and faithful Carmelita (their Maltese poodle), with open arms and huge smiles. The Canal zone (...

Our time in Panama was quiet short: we only stayed 15 days in the country and we had 2 ministry point ! Our first contact was in Gamboa, a small village next to THE famous panama canal ! Before we arrived in Panama, we were hoping to see the impressive man-made canal that joins the Pacific to the Atlantic ocean. And God blessed us abundantly by having the canal next door to the church were we stayed ! Usually we would eat our meals outside and we would see those massive cargo-sheep passing without any noise on the back of...
