Europe
WoW!! What an amazing journey.
While we were still in Canada serving at one of the camps, there was a team helping to facilitate activities for one of the churches at the camp. This organization’s name is Athletes in Action and they spread the gospel through sports ministry, when they heard about our idea to cycle through Europe they helped us get in contact with Athletes in Action in the Netherlands. When we arrived in the Netherland, they welcomed us with open arms as family, an awesome feeling. During the next few days they helped us get bicycles and all the necessary essentials for our trip and before we knew what hit us we were of.
Just before we started our journey from the most northern city in the Netherlands named Groningen, a South African friend Martin that we met in Guatemala told me about a friend of his that we have to meet. So that would be our first stop on our cycling tour, Margreeth is a sold out Lover for Christ with a very passionate hart. We stayed at het place for 2 days and had an amazing time of fellowship. During our stay she told us about a conference that would be taking place in the Netherlands. Mission Possible, it is an event to bring together the Church movement, the Missions movement and the Prayer movement so they will work together to spread the Gospel throughout the world. When we were listening to what she said we just knew we had to be at this conference.
So for the next month we cycled across Europe, from the Netherlands down to Belgium then to France to Luxembourg trough the West side of Germany and back to the Netherlands.
Our travels started well with a flat landscape to make for easy cycle. We camped mostly at camping sites on our way to Belgium and when we had the opportunity on a farmer’s farm in France. After some intense cycling day’s we made it to Paris and took 3 day’s rest before we made for Luxembourg. Arriving in Luxembourg we could find no affordable accommodation what so ever and had to sleep on the streets for one night. The next day we found a camp site and rested for 2 days while we fixed Quinton’s bicycle. On the road again we took on the final stretch through Germany to Zelhem. On our whole trip we had the chance not only to see some of the most beautiful landscapes but to have fellowship with no believers where we stayed on farmer’s farms and to minister to people on the way. It was one of the most intense journeys of this year as I’m not that fit and with all the inner things the Lord was showing me and emotional healing He was doing.
So we arrive at the town where the conference is going to be held and we don’t have enough money for 4 tickets, so we gave all our money we had and Margreeth and Quinton donated the rest. Now we gave all our money in faith and trusted the Lord to provide for accommodation and food. And he did, for the whole time we would be at the conference we stayed at Margreeth’s parents house, where we got a warm bed and more than enough to eat.
The conference was mind blowingly amazing!!! With speakers from the 70 most closed nations talking on the situations in their countries and on what we can pray for and people like Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson, Lauren Cunningham and more. At the conference we got a lot of conformation on things the Spirit had been teaching us through the year and our foundations were strengthened as He came and established us as Men of God.
When the conference was over we made our way back to Groningen, sold our bicycles and took a train to Amsterdam. We landed in SA about 2 weeks ago and yesterday was our last day of debriefing here in Jeffry’s Bay. This was truly the best year of my life where God came and romanced me and showed me the heart of the Father and the Spirit leading me and teaching me to recognize His voice. What a privilege!! I'm filled to over flow with His Joy!!!
What next? Just living life and living out this amazing Love that is inside of me!!
Ps. Jesus is AWESOME!!!!

Mulder, What a amazing journey our Lord has guided you through. Our prayers for a great experience and safety while in Europe have, of course, been answered. What a great testimony God has given you, through this past year, to share with others. His constant provision to meet all your needs. I thank our Lord for the privilege of getting to know you, not only while here at GBCC but, as well through the writings in this blog. May the Lord continue to richly bless you as He guides you to a new adventure while serving Him. In Christ, Ken
