Snow less Canada!!

Canada

We are now in Canadian air space and as we look down we see no snow what so ever!! BIG Mulder Canada 1disappointment as in our minds Canada “is” snow. After n little speed bump at customs we were picked up and drove to Ignite Camp and Retreat Center the place we would call home for the next month and a half.

After all “formalities” were done and over with we got settled in, and we were overjoyed at all the freedom we had. We stayed in our own cabin hidden in the “woods”, in the kitchen we had a walk in fridge were we could help our self to anything we wanted at any time, we also had a choice between swimming in the pool or swimming in the lake, fishing in the lake or canoeing on the lake, BB guns, bow and arrow and and and… We were really spoiled for choice and soon got in a relaxed state of mind. We would work from morning to evening at different time schedules rotating from kitchen work, maintenance, serving food or working on the beach. And that was roughly the work we did, free time we had more of enough and with that we started to lose focus of the big picture.

After 2 weeks at the camp, a friend in SA sent Geoff a message concerning our ‘unknown predicament’. He had a dream about our team, let’s just say the dream was a warning that we should keep focus. After our minds were focused again, awesome things started happening We have known from the beginning of the year that we would largely be encouraging already believers and at a Camp witch mission is to serve groups that come camp at Ignite, we had the chance to sow truth and encouragement to a lot of young people. Not only encouraging and fellowshipping with the groups, but with the staff of Ignite camp as well, who are largely between the ages 10-22. The time we had with the staff of Ignite felt like time with family. The Lord blessed us so much in the time we were there!! To give an example, we all had around 5 shirts when we started Global, when we wanted to pack we had around 20 shirts, give or take, each. God the great provider, with a sense of humor, coz our bags can’t accommodate that many articles.Mulder Canada 3

When our time was finished at Ignite, we headed for Guelph were we would work at another Summer Camp for about 2 weeks. Before we had to be at the camp we first stayed at a student home of a sister in Christ and for the weekend that we stayed there, we were spoiled again. We went to Adventure Land an awesome theme park, we also went to Niagara Falls and we had the chance to go watch a Baseball game live at the stadium aaaand we played Laser Tag WOW what a rush and what an amazing blessing to could do all that.

Mulder Canada 5We are now currently at the camp in Guelph, Guelph Bible Conference Centre, and here we are doing a lot of odd jobs like painting, cutting grass and the sort. Here we are just as blessed as ever. So our time in Canada is almost at an end. We will be flying to Amsterdam on the 17th Sep, during our journey the Lord has led Geoff in an “crazy” idea. We will be traveling through Europe, a Global Challenge first, on bicycles. BooM!! Does that not just scream excitement!!! JAAAAAAAAAAA!!! We will be traveling through the Netherlands, Belgium, France, ?Luxembourg? and Germany. Sleeping were the Spirit leads us with our tents or in a welcoming family's home.
