Hey all our Yellow Team fans :-) A lot has happened since the last time we spoke...we pick up then where we left off! Anafora (25 Feb - 2 Mar) was loaded with some study and learning time but we also see it as a huge privilege that we had to ease into the Egyptian culture by being introduced to it in all its various forms, although secluded in the sense that we were looked after by our hosts and ot in the city as such. When I think of Egypt, I think my perception wasn't very realistic. This was my first experience with a society , flooded with the influence of Islam. Around every corner, there seem to be a mosk, and the Koran is easy to get by.The Egyptian pound has mosks printed on them and every morning you are woken up by the sound of someone praying to Islam. Jordan - Petra   I traveled along the Red Sea and adventured through the borders and I reached Jordan.  Backdrops of mighty mountains flowing down into white and brown valleys of desert. My destination was the remote dead city called Petra, the most important attraction of Jordan. Anafora   Just a quick thanks to the guys i saw in pretoria before we left for Egypt it was awesome to hear how you all where doing and seeing some of you.   Anafora is a beautiful retreat and we spent a couple of days there receiving teaching on the old testament (read genesis again guys its awesome) and blessings from a bishop.   hey all you cool people out there... it's been a long while but everything that has happened has just been so overwhelming... our last week in SA was amazing we all recieved such gr8 prophecies our lives and that to me was such a gr8 encouragement.. finally we got through the base camp time and we eventually started our journey of a life time..... leaving OR tambo airport about 2 weeks ago was very sad but yet so rewarding in the way that God just comes and comforts and gives great peace to those who ask...  well on the flight...

    hey guys this last week has been a gr8 week... floyd Mc Clung and Retief Burger came and blessed us  with their gr8 teachings. my own personal experience with the Lord this last week has taught me so much; that the Lord has control over my entire life and I know that the Lord has me under His wings and I am so blessed to have experiened what i have this past week... More than two weeks into this amazing year we are stil realizing more and more what this year is really about, and it increases our excitement! This week we had the privelage to get a taste of what is to come when we started working at a local primary school! We did what was necesary to get the job done! We also had some amazing experiences and awesome views! We just had to hang on to everything we had to prevent it from getting blown away, even ourselves at times!
