Our time in Portugal was truelly a blessed time. The people there were so friendly and they did everything they could to make us feel at home. Some of them could not speak English very well, but we managed to communicate by show of hands, pointing or guessing the words. They really opened their hearts to us and it was a privilege to meet them. One of the highlights for me was the basketball we could play with some of the kids there. This one day I played for quite some time with Ismael, he is so full of joy...
Ongoing.....Everlasting.....Never-ending.... What do you think when you sit on a merry-go-round? A moment that is intimate, a moment where you are engaged with this merry-go-round and nothing else......going round and round and round and round....you don't know where you are going and at the same time you don't care where you are going........as long as you can dwell in this moment and feel the wind blowing through your hair! Training and equipping is always necessary and vital for effective ministry. Even when we may think we know alot already, there is still so much more to learn. Haha....and yes some of us did search for the islands on the map. And then kingdom wars followed......we were divided into teams and waged war against each other as a part of team building and also how to...
From Biblical times until today, the Middle East has been a region subject to near constant unrest and war. Throughout the generations, the kingdom of Jordan has been a safe harbour offering refuge to countless people fleeing from war torn countries on all sides. In an oasis like this, one finds many interesting people with inspiring stories. Stories of death, pain and destruction; stories of perseverance, courage and relief; stories of hope, love and a Saviour found. On top of that, one finds foreigners from every corner of the earth with the same heart who came to bring relief and...

Trinidad and Tobago So finally we are on the plane from Caracas after all the crazy that was Venezuela, and then the dreaded announcement “can everyone please go back to their seats and put on their safety belts, we need to make an emergency landing”, tum tum tum. No not true. Actually our flight was very chill, the only excitement was to have English air hostess again. The first leg of our flight took us to Trinidad that has a big airport. The second leg of our flight went to Georgetown Guyana, but the flight was delayed with 2...
