God´s abundant provision

Our life changing journey began with enormous favour from God. After constantly travelling for more than two days we had a choice to make: we knew we needed to get to Chile in four days time to begin our ministry but our bodies needed rest, and our finances were limited... We didn’t even have enough money to travel to Asuncion in Paraguay to catch our flight to Chile.

Guard your heart

Guard your heart
Why do we make life so complicated? Why do we so easily make mountains out of mere ant hills? It is not supposed to be this difficult and I dare say it is rather tiring to worry about everything all the time.    My stay in Egypt these past two weeks has been a time of growth and transformation. Firstly I would like to mention that all the pictures I have seen, all the history that I have read and heard throughout my years of study about this wonderful place, I could have never imagined it to be so...

Limers in Cairo & Dahub

Limers in Cairo & Dahub
Welcome to the lime teams journey to Egypt.  What an interesting and different culture we experienced here.  Our first couple of days was really cold and we thought that Egypt will be extremely hot.  We fist visited the beautiful place called Anafora.   This whole place was build around symbolic bible themes and how exciting and interesting everything was.  From the waters and the buildings they all had certain meanings.  It was a wonderful place just to spend in God's presence and see the beauty of the desert.                          These photo's show some of the beautiful places...

Yellow represents GCEX @ private school in kiwi land*
Their fields look like golf courses, you see rainbows daily, the houses look like they can be picked up at anytime and their poo pond looks like Silver Lakes golf estate's lakes! New Zealand is beautiful... and FULL of South Africans! We were all suprised to realise the numbers of South Africans here... so much so that when you are speaking Afrikaans in a shop, you need to be careful of what you say! Pretorius, Le Roux, Bosman, Ferreira, van Rensburg etc are common surnames here now! The local libraries even have a shelf for Afrikaans books! Not to mention...

Jordan Oasis of Peace

Jordan Oasis of Peace
From Biblical times until today, the Middle East has been a region subject to near constant unrest and war. Throughout the generations, the kingdom of Jordan has been a safe harbour offering refuge to countless people fleeing from war torn countries on all sides.  In an oasis like this, one finds many interesting people with inspiring stories. Stories of death, pain and destruction; stories of perseverance, courage and relief; stories of hope, love and a Saviour found. On top of that, one finds foreigners from every corner of the earth with the same heart who came to bring relief and...

Repentance and Restoration

Repentance and Restoration
"Sanctıfy yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." (Joshua.3:5)  While we were still in Israel the North Bound girls prayed together to ask God His will for our last days in Israel.  Most of us felt that we wanted to spend some time alone with God seperated from the noise of the outside world.  We talked about ideas of just entering the desert and spending time with God there but God had other plans.  We were so blessed by going back to Anafora to spend some...

Nothing is hidden from His sight!

“Nothing is hidden from Your sight; Wherever I go You are with me; You know every detail of my life; You are God and you don’t miss a thing.” The last week or so I’ve been thinking about the whole idea of my life and in what way God has control over the things that happen in my life. Reading stories of people like Joseph I have again just realized how God in intensely involved with what happens in our lives. When reading the words to the song above it just emphasizes how nothing on this earth is hidden from...
