Amazing grace

Amazing grace
This is two of the words that's constantly in my mind and heart during a year like this. BUT this is exactly what my life has been up to now.   It is out of amazing grace that God has chose to send me into the nations - to change my life and peoples' lives around me. I want to share one story on this...   In Luke 10 God sends out His disciples to go and bless people in the ordinary walk of life and this time was no different.   We (the blue team) asked God to show...

Following Jesus?

Following Jesus?
Following Jesus? I am currently in India together with the rest of the work Your way team. Apart from enjoying the absolute innocent love I’m receiving from the children at the orphanage and working hard on a water reservoir we are building for the orphanage and just experiencing the incredible India in so many different ways. From going to watch IPL to experiencing the scorching Indian sun, getting eaten alive by mosquitoes at night, seeing the Taj Mahal, shaking my head sideways like the Indians do, spending time with Indians who have a hunger for Christ and also with...

First 5 weeks of training - South Africa

First 5 weeks of training - South Africa
"Here are my servants, whom I uphold, my chosen ones in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on them and they will bring justice to the nations." - Isaiah 42:1 (plural added)   The Lord has been preparing his servants in powerful ways these last five weeks. Listening to teachings, practically serving at the primary school, creating projects and working in our teams have brought all of us closer to the heart of Jesus as we are being empowered to bring the good news of salvation with healed hearts and in power and love to the nations. PRAISE GOD IN THE HIGHEST PLACES!!

India - a time where we can only look back upon and praise GOD!!! We started off in India with a bang. We worked from 5:30am till about 11am, and then we had some time for biblestudy. After that we worked out a program for the kids, and then we had a whole day of interaction with the kids. That was definitely my highlight!!! I loved everything that had to do with the kids. We prayed alot for money to bless them, and though we didn't even had enough money to stay there, we were blessed by God with about...

Lime Team Blog (officially)
The Lime team has been going through some changes lately... First, Debree is finance person (quite scary). We had to plant rice, ride in a sari on a donkey (great job Marizy), play 10 overs of the gentleman's game AND win, try explaining THAT to four indian kids. The visit at the tea factory had Cobus reevaluate his pharmacist calling - HAHA just kidding, but it was pretty cool. Let me just say that it is interesting what people are...
