Have you ever felt like your not meant to be anything, that your just another lame nobody?A purposeless being who just go through the motions of life? Well I fell in this trap. I told myself that just an average life is enough for me, that I'm not worth having a great dream! I recently discovered that this is not true, that there is more to life t just an average, ordinary, boring life. Each of us is unique and special and has our own unique and special talents and skills. God gave them to us and He gives us...
As we walked out of the hotel at about 6:30 we clearly
realized that it was not only ice-cold but raining as well. But a little rain
does not scare the Orange team. "Ons skrik vir niks!" So we decided
to face the Giant!

God has been so faithful over the past few weeks, that I can do nothing else but to honour and glorify His name!! It is because of Him, His plans and His calling that some of the finest young people in the world have decided to surrender their lives to Him... I am reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians 5 which reads: "... those who live, should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again!" It is when we decide to lay down our own lives and own ambitions, when we...
Cameroon, Cameroon , I will see you soon. The nation of exhortation will make Africa boom. Laughters we had although transport made us mad... What has stolen your dreams? Wat has killed your people? What has taken you from Yahweh? I cry a deep cry to our Father: Bless Cameroon with their flag. May it hang on high, with pride, justice, dignity, fearing God, honoring Jesus and listening to Holy Spirit. Red I give you... please take up salvation. Green you have... use it... I have new things for you. Yellow on your faces... please jump for joy to Me;...
Flying to Ethiopia, as we reached the altitude safe enough for us to "go about the cabin", I wondered if God would do just as much as He did in Egypt. Or even if it was possible to be as impacted and shaken as I was in Egyp,t but one moment later I knew the answer... He would do even more in the countries to come and this was still just the beginning. As we flew to Ethiopia I met a man named George. George is from the Congo but is now living in Sudan and flying to Ethiopia for...
G My prayer for Guatemalu was "God I pray for healing and the deliverance " This was my prayer for Guatemalu, after five days of travel from Turkey-England-Mexico-Guatemala, spent the night on the bus and three regional airports. We arrived in Panajachel in Guatemala, we spent 35 days I would love to stay 35 more days, because God was soooo powerful . During the day we worked on the project, foundation, make windows and doors, setting the roof, etc., and at night they would have been learning from Ben pastora church. Learning were about baptism, devils, generaciska curse and Revelation, and all learning was a blessing....
What we experienced was God´s amazing power in and through us. And it was real. Real. Everyday. Not because we are special. No. Because God IS! He is true. He is faithful. He can use you whenever where-ever! Are you open? Ready? This is my account. Team Purple Blog is still in the process...:) We started of, and the first thing God tested us in was: are we willing to GO NOW!? when it is getting dark, and we still have a secure place for the night? Will we trust him? Well...it rained as well, and after a prayer and...
As the common cliche would have it: Life's a journey and not a destination. The implication is such that one should enjoy every aspect on the road- no matter how rough, tough, tired or otherwise "woes" the circumstances get. I, for one, feel the need to highlight that in these "less-than-happy-kodak-moments" I don't always smile at the though of running out of toilet paper in countries where none is required, or mistaking an innocent bowl of noodles for another native dish. But as this journey of ours is one of the heart, let me rather take a different approach... ...
IN Global Challenge we often talk about servant leadership and what it entails. After every conversation I yet again realise how far I have yet to grow in this. The past week I had the privilege of listening to a convesation between my fathers previous colleagues about my father and his leadership. Hearing what impact servant leadership has on the people you lead made my want to live this even more. I learned that: Servant leadership is modelled, not taught. A servant leader sets an example and principles which is followed long after the leader has left. Respect is earned...
