But the greatest of these

But the greatest of these
At this stage of the journey I could write a blog about almost anything. Endurance would be a good subject... With only 22 days to go I have to bite my lip more every day. Even long suffering or forbearance would fit. And when I see the word ''fit'' I am reminded about some of my clothes that does not fit as nicely as they did when I started the journey. My physical, mental and emotional fitness at this stage is also not something to write home about.   Despite my frustrations and irritations God opened my eyes to see...

I never knew what freedom was till I knew what prison meant

I never knew what freedom was till I knew what prison meant
My sweethearts, It's that satisfying moment when you go a little bit further than you know humanly possible for you. When you become the woman you have always dreamt of being. When your self rejecting thought patterns change in a matter of days.. Patterns that have cursed you for years. It is healing beyond our imagination. He opened my eyes to how much more I am. That He awakens more in me. And don't get me started in the romance. I day dream a lot about my future husband coming to me and saying that God has shown him dreams...

Where is everybody?

In case you were wondering since we've all been so quiet on blogging and stuff.  The team is spread out at the moment between London, Bosnia i Herzegovina and Dahab (Red Sea).  God is actively busy working in and through each of us during this time in various ways.  And of course the enemy is not at all pleased...  So please pray for each individual's protection - physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.  We will all meet up again in Cairo on October 1st and are looking forward to what we believe is still going to be something BIG as we...

ah ah.... what is life??

life is living for the only ALmighty God many times during this year i would sit and wonder what is life and why are we as humans placed on the earth?? and than God would come and reveal to me the scriptures in the bible that tell us how much HE cares for us, how much HE loves us and How HE is always watching over us.... and to think and grasp all that He does for us.... His glory shines so brightly if we just take time out and ask Him to show us... God the father is our...

Abundance in Brazil

So on the 14 August the team left Panama for Brazil where they were on their Luke 10. In this time I stayed in Panama after I felt God putting it on my heart to pray for the team as they travel. So we joined up again after 10 days, each with different experiences and testimonies. So after these 10 days our ministry officially started in Brazil and we had to split up again, with ministry at 2 different places. Six of the team made there way to Sao Paulo and the other 4 to Vitoria da Conquista. I was...

Flying a kite for Syria

Flying a kite for Syria
In the late afternoon dusk the city is settling down under a cloud of dust. A few blocks away the image of dreary stone coloured houses is broken by a blue and green kite that sweeps over and through the buildings. Yells of delight are carried on the early evening breeze toward where I am sitting. Sarah sits on the steps outside her house, crying. Her brother has passed away today. The image of a broken girl is a far cry from the one I met this morning before school. Laughing when she introduced herself, screeching as she ran after...

Expect the Unexpected? Blessed and blessed and blessed in the Caymans!

We all had the same experiences in the Cayman Islands, as a team, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we all experienced it the same. God works in different ways and we are all on different journeys in our walk with God. Here are the thoughts of each team member on how they experienced our time in the Cayman Islands.

My Gardener

My Gardener
The adventure of getting to and away from Venezuela was fast-paced and exciting; to such an extent that after our whirlwind stop in Trinidad and Tobago we sat on the plane and thought... oh yeah, we're going to Guyana. Having a sneaky suspicion that we might end up doing a Luke 10, while flying into the airport and seeing the expanse of the jungle around it, I had visions of trying to find a man of peace in a local village with the sloths as bystanders...    At the airport the travel team was charged with the task of...
