Indescribable India

Indescribable India
You need faith for this... "A" for away but also "A" for AMAZING! As northbound we had a challenging project to complete within 14days. As soon as we got to the orphanage in India, our ministry started... Our projects include children's ministry and transform the physical appearance of the orphanage by scraping, sanding and painting the walls.  We prayed for R25 000 to complete the project and bless the children. God miraculously provided R14 900! He also led a Hindi business man to give us R1100 discount on materials we needed, as well as sandpaper for free when he heard...

Almost one week of Global Challenge has passed!

Almost one week of Global Challenge has passed!
After spending close to 0ne week in J-Bay we are all amazed at what God has started to do in our lives so far! We had a local challenge this week and we had so much to do in such a short time that we had to run from point A to B and our group can really testify that god really provided in every need! We had a lot of challenges including washing 10 cars and eating 20 ice-creams, between 4 people this can turn out to be a bit too much! We also had to decorate a cake and...

Read if you dare - Yolandi

In Revelations it says that the devil will be defeated by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.  Thus with this statement I start the hardest blog and testimony to write but also the most freeing and life giving experience.  So please read this if you long for change and long for God to change your life because this story shows of God's grace and His love to never leave nor forsake us.   This testimony I write about myself and what God broke down in my time spend in Guatemala.  During our time in Guatemala...

Where is everybody?

In case you were wondering since we've all been so quiet on blogging and stuff.  The team is spread out at the moment between London, Bosnia i Herzegovina and Dahab (Red Sea).  God is actively busy working in and through each of us during this time in various ways.  And of course the enemy is not at all pleased...  So please pray for each individual's protection - physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.  We will all meet up again in Cairo on October 1st and are looking forward to what we believe is still going to be something BIG as we...

Jesus is in Jerusalem*

Jesus is in Jerusalem*
Israel, the promised land, the country where Jesus walked, the place where God revealed so much of His character to us through the Israeli nation. Visiting this special place is an experience that can hardly be captured or described in mere words or pictures. It is seeing a piece of living history, a walk through the gospels. From Bethlehem where Jesus was born to Capernaum next to the sea of Galilea where Jesus ministered to Jerusalem, the city that Jesus loved. How strange and heartbreaking to see the same historic events being viewed so differently through the glasses of different...

Better late than never...

No one ever said that acheiving the impossible was easy, neither did they say it would be this awesome! So a couple of weeks ago the 5 amazing people of Blue team set out from Mendoza, Argentina with everything we own on our backs and the aim of being about 5000 kilometers away in 6 days with nowhere near enough money... someone say fun? We got off to a great start, we walked straight into a street party ( Argentina had just won the soccer) and a couple of hours later had managed to hitch a lift in the back of a...

Marland and Alice Miller

Have you ever felt like you just needed a little bit of encouragement? Today was one of those days for me... I was walking the streets of Nepal wondering if all these foreingers are searching for something, as I was searching for Christian Fellowship outside of South Bound - someone just to encourage me for the rest of the year...  and... As i walked into the Crazy Burger Cafe and ordered a Banana Milkshake I sat down next to a friendly couple who seemed diffirent than the rest of the foreigners - they were enjoying life. As they were getting...

...ABOUT TIME...

I guess it's about time...  About time I get down to writing a newsletter and blog again.  About time I share what the Lord's been doing.  So I decided to finally do it now... ABOUT TIME!  For me personally, our time in Guatemala started off on a wonderful high.  I could experience God working in and through me and I found absolute joy in knowing that I am where the Lord wants me to be.  It was special to come back to Panajachel and be able to recognize and testify of what the Lord has done since the last time...
