Well where do I begin... The past few weeks have been crazy fun, hard, good days and bad days... Welcome to my first blog!  We had the privilege to experience a lot during the training time, but I just want to share two of my highlights. The survival week was one of my favourite times in traning. The fact that we had every day challenges against the other teams to get food changed my thinking about it, we should be thankful for our daily dishes and it is a privilege to have enough to eat. Dear friends,  We have now only one week of Training in Jbay left, on the 3rd of march we will take a plane from Johannesburg to Turkey. Adventure is knocking at my door and it is almost time to respond by flinging this little door of mine wide open. Reflecting back on the past six weeks of training I am humbled by the grace of God and His undeniable faithfulness. What a journey it has been thus far, an adventure in itself. So far I have enjoyed every moment with my team, volunteers and leaders (even the less favorable ones like being out in the elements or walking barefoot for several hours).   Day 40: The locals seem to have grown accustome to my presence and have accepted me as one of there own.  Thoughts of my previous life have started to fade and words like 'patient', 'dentures' and 'medical aid' are rearly spoken.
