Sea the Glory of Our King

Written by Jana

Waves... Waves are amazing; they are powerful, calming, beautiful, majestic! The sound of waves reaching the shore has a holiday feel to it, it calms the heart and feeds the soul. At the same time the haunting sound or crashing waves reminds of scary movies and lost lives. The ocean is powerful and awesome! Covering more than two thirds of the land it is much more than we could ever imagine and even today in our technologically advanced era surprises with secrets and mystery...

Time to launch this plane...

Personally I feel that no human words will be able to describe the past two month's training. We have gone through deliverance, healing of hearts, hours of worship, prayer and just spending time with the Lord. In the past few days God has also blessed group members including myself with spiritual gifts, so we can get to know Him even more intimately and serve His people. I will try to share with you my experience through a poem I wrote yesterday.   Launching of my plane... Now there it stands shimmering in the light of the sun, And so many...

God's favour, over the world's hatred and persecution

(due to certain political reasons this blog will be censored very badly) so with my second family in the H*ly L*nd, I'm sitting in Ir*n, connecting Global with these people of Tehr*n. YOUR WORLD WILL SHAKE, because God really comes through in every single way you can believe.    Q: "Has it been a disappointment being away from the group?" A: Yes, its very hard to be away from everyone, its hard to think that life could even go on, but we have to sacrifice things for the Glory of G*d.   Q:"Being a M*ssian*c J*w how does it feel...

Onward and forward?

"Now go, and remember that I am sending you out as lambs among wolves" - Luke 10:3  They say it's easier said than done. And sometimes they may even say it's crazy. And who could blame them? If I was still on the outside looking in, I might have said the same. Yet now I am on the inside looking out. And I am not alone. I am with my shepherd. He is sending us, His sheep, out among the wolves once more.  Never in my life would I have ever thought I'd be the one to say that in...

China - GCX08 - Phillipians

Here we are in China as SERVANTS of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Nothing more and nothing less.  God has begun a GOOD WORK in each and every one of us and we can stand confidently upon His PROMISE to CONTINUE this work on to COMPLETION on the day of Christ Jesus (Phil 1:6).  And since our foundations were secured during the disciple equipping course with FCE, I know that one of the most important works He has started in me is the RENEWAL OF MY MIND (Rom 12:2).  Surely it is a privilege to SHARE this GRACE OF GOD with His church around the world.

Turkey : what a country !!

We spent our first two days in the big city of Istanbul (European side) experiencing what turkey had to offer, seeing sites like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. After our brief stay, we were on our way to the seaside town of Kusadasi, just 15km away from Ephesus, where one of the very first churches was. There our work started and we ended up fixing and painting a lot of stuff and everyone there just kept on pouring their love out on us just as we did with them. We were blessed by our contacts with a day at...

Thailand & Malaysia

I've been staring at this blank screen for too long, typing, back spacing, trying, thinking.. I wanted to have a cool start for my blog you know. But..let me use what God taught me this whole year. Be Real. Spontaneous. Soooooo this Blog will be about my Thailand and Malaysia experiences. We first experienced the lovely Bangkok and then traveled to Chang Mai , knowing our 'Luke 10' is waiting there for us. We were divided into smaller teams and then sent out to survive and spread the gospel for a week without anything except the clothes we were wearing....

Blessed Travels! (wYw)

Today was our first real travel day on this leg of our journey.  After a 6 am wakeup, corporate prayer, packing and cleaning, we left Reggae Backpackers.  We only found out that today that Adam, the landlord, is also a Christian and we had a quick chat with him and blessed him before leaving. We decided to travel light and left all our big bags in storage.  No sleeping bags, warm clothes or any luxuries.  Just the necessities.  We took a train to get out of the city and started hitch hiking.  At this point we split into 2 groups...
