On the fourth of march we arrived in Istanbul, a city with about 10 million people. By God's grace we found a very cheap hostel right in the centre between the famous mosque "Hagia sophia" and the sea (Bosporus)! There is a grace that washes us clean, transforms our hearts, and challenges us to love deeply even when it seems too difficult. It must have been quite a sight for the locals to see 9 South Africans and 1 Canadian (Danica’s mom and grandparents had arrived a few days earlier) eagerly scanning the crowd at the IST airport.
