"I like talking with my life, if necessary use words." The words of pastor Marcos at our one ministry point in Rio. Amazing how the meaning of this and the saying- actions speak louder than words- are making sense for the first time. When you experience something literally it's not only head knowledge any more, it changes the way you act and think. It becomes revelational. I've experienced so much of God's blessing, favour and goodness through people's hospitality and love and without being able to say a word. The language barrier at first frustrated me a lot but then...

Israel - the promised land. The country full of history, hiking and hummus. The country of quality time with Jesus. Whereas Jordan and most other countries are mostly about the ministry although you learn a lot from it too, God gave Israel as a country just for me and Him together. Contrasting to Jordan, the spiritual atmosphere in Israel was so light! It felt like we could breath again and walk around as girls without feeling threatened. You create this expectation that because we are now in the promised land, Jesus would just feel so much more tangible. I...
Hi all!! Everything is really great here! Our time in Hong Kong was AWESOME!! Let me tell you about the miracle that happened to us in Hong Kong… We need to draw money from the ATM, but the machine didn’t want to work, so this guy came up to us and asked if he could help us. We told him that we need money to buy lunch and get to the airport. He said OK, went to the ATM,came back and gave us 1000Hong Kong Dollars!! And we only needed 200!!! Then he just disappeared!! It was AWESOME! And just...

I quoted this piece before whilst in Uganda in 2016 when over-quoting was under-rated: "In going where you have to go, and doing what you have to do, and seeing what you have to see, you dull and blunt the instrument you write with. But I would rather have it bent and dulled and know I had to put it on the grindstone again and hammer it into shape and put a whetstone to it, and know that I had something to write about, than to have it bright and shining and nothing to say, or smooth and well oiled...
Well, in the beginning... NAAAHH, I'm just kidding! I am totally inadequate to rewrite the Bible! For now I just want to share an amazing revelation that God has been stirring in my heart these past 2 weeks of training. Well, apart from the three day-three night survivor adventure where we experienced God's provision and protection over us, I learned a lot about the character of our Father in crazy dimensions. The 1 thing that touched me the most is the fact that we intend to be the writers of our...
After an amazing time in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northbound recently arrive in Istanbul, Turkey. Our team is filled with excitement as we are heading into a new season of our journey. In Turkey we will not be having hosts and set ministy points like we normally do, but will be following in Pauls footsteps, going to places like: Cappadocia, Ephesus and Troy. Within our team we have faced a few challenges as well. We have shuffled porfolios, people on food team are now working on the teams communications and the people previously on communication have joined the finance team....
STATUS- Strengthened , Tested, Amusing, Trustworthy, Unique and Social- these are some of the words we feel describes Northbound 2014... Since our last check in, we have throughly enjoyed our time in Pamukkale and have recently, as in yesterday arrived here in Kusadasi, where we will be spending the next six days. Throughout Turkey we have experienced the wifi to be extremely TRUSTWORTHY, they have it everywhere, next to the street, in the buses and camp sites... In Pamukkale specifically we were TESTED till the point of insanity as they pumped the same 10 songs though our ears the whole...

Peru is a country of many contrasts. It's divided into three belts which runs from north to south. The desert coast with unending beaches, the majestic Andes mountains running through the middle, and then the jungle bordering Brazil. Each belt has different people with different cultures...but all Peruvian. Here is even a special dog with hair only on its head. Our time in Peru was fast paced and busy. We traveled a lot while ministering to different people. We hosted workshops and church, sang Jabulani, posed for pictures, ate Guinea pig, posed for pictures, did school ministry, saw a mud...
