The Africa challenge really was something to write home about.  Who would have thought it possible to go through Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia in two days (and still find time to have a picnic at Vic Falls! Which was awesome I might add!). We were so blessed in that we raised the money we had to raise for the challenge before 10:00 the first morning!

After almost a month in Cuba, which was AH-MAZING!!!!!, it's hard to pick out only a few words for even just a glimpse to be experienced, for words only describe a moment in black in white where the colours are crucial for envision. As the first pages of this chapter were reflected through our lives, it is evitable that our Lord's hand is at work in every single person's life on earth as His plan was and will always be the nations. For our prayers are showered over the city of Santiago and the hearts of our family and friends'...

We spent our first two days in the big city of Istanbul (European side) experiencing what turkey had to offer, seeing sites like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. After our brief stay, we were on our way to the seaside town of Kusadasi, just 15km away from Ephesus, where one of the very first churches was. Wow... its how I can sum Turkey up... wow... Jesus you made Your pressence known, You came and show me what it is like to love your neighbour as yourself, you have blessed me in abundance. You have blown my mind and captivated my heart. 

I am content This... this took me 18 years and 8 months. I just got at this point were I gave over and yes I still get those breakdown moments where I try to open the door of self control again but,I am content. God came these two months like a mighty crane and demolished everything I knew and everything I thought I knew. Then, well then He came to me in my broken and stripped place and talked so soft and gentle.He knocked and I did not want to open the door but still He went to gather lilies...

Waves... Waves are amazing; they are powerful, calming, beautiful, majestic! The sound of waves reaching the shore has a holiday feel to it, it calms the heart and feeds the soul. Today was our first real travel day on this leg of our journey.  After a 6 am wakeup, corporate prayer, packing and cleaning, we left Reggae Backpackers.  We only found out that today that Adam, the landlord, is also a Christian and we had a quick chat with him and blessed him before leaving. We decided to travel light and left all our big bags in storage.  No sleeping bags, warm clothes or any luxuries.  Just the necessities.  We took a train to get out of the city and started hitch hiking.  At this point we split into 2 groups...
