My Journey

7 weeks of training already over and oooh wow, what an Amazing time of my life.  The first week of training tested my patience and endurance a lot...Suviver in the bush, that says a lot already ! I wanted to go home soo badly, but then God showed me that He wants me to focus only on Him and nothing else and that I should be so useless that He can actually use me and oh how He used me !!         I experienced God's love and grace for me so much and for the first time...

Consider it pure joy (James 1:2-4)

Indonesia... after Australia I took a fall a literal fall. I was so sick, along with two other, Austin and Mynette's mom. My muscles were so weak I remember one time Austin and I wanted to walk to the Market across the street. Going down the steps was easy coming back up the steps (Elivator was out of order! No jokes) Hell!   We recovered really fast... one day and the next day Calvin and I did Bible study together which was wat we needed (Philippians 3) from then on I was good again until we went to the DG...

TIRED

Please note that this blog was created on 28 July 2017 “I see those tears in your eyes… My love there’s no need to hide, just let me love you when your heart is tired!” song lyrics from Alan Walkers new song called Tired. These lyrics played a important role in my life this past few weeks ( 28 Jul. 2017 ) and (truth be told) helped me realize what Dad is trying to tell me. So with these lyrics in your mind and the fact that God will never let you down enjoy number 11 and I pray that...

its out there

After a week of having an truly amazing time in Hong Kong, I can't wait to see what is next. my comfort zone has only become an oasis in my life. There is just too much adventure out in the world. To much God wants us to do. To little time to ponder on if we should or not. To many people we can meet. By love we have been given a choice. Will you allow this wonderful, wild love to come and overtake your life and show you the greatness of the Fathers plan in life. I've felt in...

Echo farm

IMG-20200928-WA0031
Somewhere close to nowhere a river bends and flows freely through a remote dryland. It’s a place where the hot summer sun makes the earth pay its tax in the form of water in exchange for its energy and promise of growth. It’s a place where insects rule the ground and the call of the fish eagle sounds.   It’s a place where God uses the dusk air as a canvas to paint a new masterpiece every day.   With every sunset comes a new promise of a cool night. It’s a place where the stars rule the night sky...

Thailand!

Gotta love technology, I cannot upload my pictures, anyway, here it is! With India still fresh in our memories the Northbound team arrived in Bankok, Thailand. The contrast was unmistakable. Coming from a place where the street is used as a bathroom and to this clean place where the suffucientcy of the , there is a Seven Eleven around every corner and the trafic lights have a countdown timer! We spent two days de-briefing our India experience and had some time off just to rest and to get ready for our next ministry point. Out team split into two groups,...

Excuse me, can I help you?

Excuse me, can I help you?
How can you try to explain Turkey in words? Everything that has happened here was just one amazing journey. I can literally see God's hand in every place that we've been to. From our first day in Istanbul God has started the journey with me to show me what true humility is and make me realize again that this year is not about me.    It was such a nice experience to get to know the turkish people and their culture. The people in Turkey are probably the most giving group of people I've ever met. Every time you would...

Gardening 101

Gardening 101
When gardening, one always starts with the end in mind. There is always a sort of rigorous planning and planting, but soon it is all about maintenance and persevering in the commitment to keep the garden contained. This is also true of our spiritual gardens. At first our spirit dwells in a desert, with no living water and no plants. But as soon as Christ comes and changes our truth and understanding of the good news, He starts planting the first tree…The tree of freedom and salvation. As we start walking an intentional road with Him, God starts bringing new...
