modder_005.jpgOn Sunday 24 Feb we had a great day! Just think mud and pancakes?
It was Marcel’s birthday!! This meant we had nice pancakes with chocolate source.
This was in fact not the best part. A few days earlier we started to experience water problems. So on Sunday morning just after breakfast we headed out and started to inspect the water pipes looking for some kind of problem.

New Wine. In the world there are more than a hundred Types of wines. The general process of making a bottle of wine from seed to bottle can take three to five years. The seed by itself can’t do anything and tastes bitter. It needs the soil to sprout and the ground to feed on. The Farmer needs to give it water to be able to grow and to prune it to produce the best grapes. The grapes go through a couple of processes and finally are bottled to be enjoyed on a warm summer or cold winter evening with...

Philippines

Philippines
Our time in Philippines only started after almost 5 days of travelling! 117 hours in total! We arrived tired but our spirits were quickly uplifted as we stared into the faces of the short term group that joined us there! It was so nice to have fresh conversations and to exchange some stories of the past year! They also surprised us with treats from our country: rusks, chocolate, sweets and biltong! Our expectations for the Philippines were big and we were ready to start our ministry! The days were very busy and with the draining heat, our energy levels were...

off off and away

Thought it's about time I let you all know what the team's been up to but most importantly what God's been up to. For the past few weeks I've had a taste of Africa, the real deal. I'm talking about longdrops of various shapes and sizes; having had the priviledge to interact with the Masaai peolpe, eating chapaties and schumawiki- local Kenyan dish, traveling via mtats and learning few swahili words.   Honestly, it's been a tough and testing few weeks in the heart of Africa. The Lord has really been teaching me what it means to be humble and have...

Dear Daddy

Personal newsletter Colombia I am standing on my Daddy's feet. Holding Him around His waist. Having a childish laughter when I look at Him. I am glued to Him, nothing can get me off Him. I do not want to let go. I am feeling safe and protected in His presence. I do not care where He is taking me or what is happening around me. No, it does not matter. All that matters is being with my Daddy wherever I go. There is nothing to worry about and nothing to figure out. That is my Daddy's job. Yes, He...
