Don’t you just love it when the Spirit reveals something to you?  When you grasp something that you never really understood?  When a mystery is revealed to you and you are so shocked with the fact that you have lived your entire life without knowing the secret of that mystery? When you discover something so awesome that it consumes all your thoughts and influences your entire being? 

Ok so I know it has been a while, and as you know me, and have read my “several” blogs I’m not the best writer, but I am having another go! This is a brief description of my experiences since my last post... After China we went to Thailand, where we did some physical building work with Pastor Wasaan, I learnt a lot about God’s amazing love and grace for us as His children. Travelling around Africa, exploring on what the Lord is doing and how He is doing it, listening to great testimonies from the people He's using and how He's using them. One has to sit down and ponder on a question, What is God's mission? Yes, His mission is simple and clear. His mission is not commissioning (matthew28:16-20), His mission is in john 10:16,"I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd." thats His mission.

After some further tutorials in India (course named Veritas 2), which was super amazing and eye opening, we went to an orphanage. It was such a privilege but still challenging. All that the kids have is God. They don't have their own toys or own rooms or even their own beds. Seeing how their take on life is really inspiring! Every chlid to whom I have spoken to wants to become someone who helps other people to learn to know God, if it is a missionary or a nurse just to show someone in need a helping hand and love....

In the last few days Northbound has: Taken a bus from Istanbul to Cappadocia where we were camping for the first time this year. One of the mornings we woke up early to experience a amazing sunrise with hot air balloons around us, something that Cappadocia is famous for. After which we went for an 8 hour long hike where we explored some of the houses and churches to whom Paul wrote to in the letter of Galatians. We are happy to announce that we are a team of 11 again as Anseri has rejoined our team after her delay....

So before coming to Australia Louw told us sheep farming is so fun... the first week is awesome something funny and new (You put sheep in a cradle and cut of their tails and ass skin...) then the next week feels like it never wants to end... so it was hard work, but I enjoyed it. Working with sheep isn't as easy as you think. They are stubborn and stupid creatures... no jokes, mirenos are the worst !    But they teach you something about patience  especially when they kick you in the face and balls... remember we are not...

Me, Marliaan, Marna, Janica and Roelf flew via Hong Kong to India. So we relived the movie " The Terminal" because we had to sleep and live at the airport for a whole day! We slept in the emergency exit room!! It was very funny! The part that is not funny is that my bag did not arrive in Hong Kong and they are still looking for it!!!! It has almost been 24hours and they still dont know where my bag is! We are flying to India in 2hours and hopefully they are going to send my bag to India . Please pray that...
