There is Joy knowing Jesus in Kenya*

There is Joy knowing Jesus in Kenya*
I really enjoyed Kenya, it was so amazing to see what God did in just one week, brining our team closer together, the open, friendly people who would just trust us with their things, The awesone way God revealed Himself in the time spent in the prayer room we helpped to launch and also having so much favor with food and traveling... I deffinitly went through some inner struggles but that is part of growing and God teaching me to live a holy and pure life as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:7 "For God did not call us to...

Gardening 101

Gardening 101
When gardening, one always starts with the end in mind. There is always a sort of rigorous planning and planting, but soon it is all about maintenance and persevering in the commitment to keep the garden contained. This is also true of our spiritual gardens. At first our spirit dwells in a desert, with no living water and no plants. But as soon as Christ comes and changes our truth and understanding of the good news, He starts planting the first tree…The tree of freedom and salvation. As we start walking an intentional road with Him, God starts bringing new...

You are there when I am in a bad situation, You are there in the joy and good times, You gide my steps for me, You keep me warm when life is cold, You are the  light in my darknes. The Journey Starts - March 2012

The Journey Starts - March 2012
The Journey Starts On the 6 th of March our journey to the hidden worlds of South America started. Our first destination for ministry was in Santiago (Chile).  It was a very interesting and exiting situation, because the cheapest way to get to Chile was to fly to Brazil and then travel to Paraguay over land and then fly from Asuncion (Paraguay) to Santiago.  Due to unexpected expenses end expensive travel costs in Brazil, the team budget was unable to support our travel costs from the Brazilian border to the airport in Paraguay.  We only had one option left –...

Presence is best present

Presence is best present
Peace, Joy, Love, Freedom, Hope. These are the things that many search after, long for, strive for and only sometimes catch a glimpse of. On our backpacking challenge in Colombia it was really easy for me to experience all these things. We were in smaller groups travelling for 7 days from Cartegena to Santa Marta. This time was also for reflection, rejuvenation and rest. We could do whatever we wanted! We had a small but manageble budget and our bags were overflowing with special South African treats from the family visit which had just ended. Colombia and for some ...Venezuela...

Here we go!

Here we go!
With great expectations we started this journey. It was a time of being uncertain of what awaits us but being certain that God has called us. and that is exactly the point...God has called us. He still is. And those who answer this ever present call are the people who will see His glory unfold in the hidden world. Training has been an adventure in itself. We are discovering so much about ourselves and of God. Our ways of thinking has been moulded, challenged, and affirmed. It has been both challenging and edifying. This is church. A group of believers...

Fasting

Fasting
I really enjoy eating. There is just something about the smell of good food that awakens a joy from deep within and like a magnet I am instantly drawn to the source for a nibble. Over the years however, my body has changed and that wonderful teenage bottomless pit suddenly resulted in more feminine curves. My lifestyle also changed: less running around like a hooligan and more sitting in front of a desk working. With all these changes came some genetic health obstacles also (low blood pressure, low sugar levels, low iron levels) that resulted in a more controlled and...

First blog for 2008!

Hi everyone! Well, I had the best end of 2007 and best beginning of 2008 ever! We arrived in Hawaii on the 23rd of Nov (we had the 23rd twice!). We camped at the YWCA, right next to the sea! The people did think we are crazy to camp, because it is their raining season! But it was beautifull! The mountains of Hawaii is something that I will never forget! We went to a Christmas eve service at a church nearby...beautiful! In Hawaii, they say ¨Mele Kieliekemaka, which means, Merry Christmas! We went to Kailua beach on Chistmas morning to...

Turkey!

Our amazing time in turkey has come to an end! But in the cold streets we all left a piece of our hearts. The Lord still run through that country, and no men will ever arise what love has once done. Revival is close again, revival has a name.

Scarlet

IMG_9555
The most meaningful color (well that’s what I think) will most likely be scarlet red . Why? Well it represents a few things like love and blood . It is also the color that can be seen as mysterious and mesmerizing. When a person wears that color, it is as if there is more than meets the eye and that you must dive deep with him/her to see the real person on the inside. With that in mind, enjoy number 13 and see how God changed my heart and perspective through my Luke 10 team named… Scarlet Scarlet (in my...
