I want to stay on the operating table while He is busy... It’s time for an update with regards to my life; the way I see it, the Lord is my GPS in life; directing me through the nations as He sends me to go in to reflect what He has done in my life and is still busy doing...To show me my purpose in life...I can really confess that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and the only Saviour who truly saves!! Sometimes we choose our own direction but is it really where God wants...

"Something will grow from what you are going through. That thing will be you." - Unknown Someone very dear to my heart prayed in training that God would ruin my life on this journey. Only now that God took the challenge do I understand what she meant by that. Our month in Israel has been some of the hardest yet most beautiful days of my life. God broke down walls in my heart that without me even realizing, were keeping Him out more than they were anyone else. He filled these gaps with love and innocence, moulding me and shaping...
Hope's Garden Jeremy woke up with dust all around him, and the neighbours cat licking his toe, where he had cut it the previous night, when he stepped into a broken glass on the way to his house. Jeremy looked for something to eat, but only found green bananas. That was it, today he was going away, that is what his mother and his big sister had done. But that has been a couple of years ago, before he could tie his own shoe laces. He could see his Granny was half asleep as he walked out of the door,...
Journey to the end of the earth "You will be spiritually awakened, Work Your Way, the time has come." This was a prophesy given to Work Your Way in Sydney, we didn't expect accurate it would be! How God works His way in the most unexpected times, how it unfolds as He has predestined by working in hearts of those who love him. The First ten days in Fiji was spent in a rural community called Labasa at a YWAM base surrounded by rustling sugarcane plantations, scattered palm trees that eventually had to be climbed and uncharted...
"Oh when the Reds..." is the war cry that sounded as the Red team - my red team - marched in for our last challenge of survivor during week 2 of training. If you had asked any student 4 days earlier what their take was on training, or Global Challenge for that matter, that theory would most probably have imploded, and rightly so. Survivor came as a shock to us all, having all the tests required for inconvenient circumstances. A box of matches, a knife and one sleeping bag - the 3 luxury items permissible, that we as the...
Israel We decided to spend a few days in Israel to rest and fill our tanks. We spent 5 days in Jerusalem, Israel. There's a SA missionary who opened her house to us. Her house is a permanent house of prayer and people come and go to pray for the peace of Jerusalem there. She took us to many places in Jerusalem to see where Jesus walked, was crucified, his tomb, where the outpouring of the holy spirit happened in the upper room, mount zion, the mount of olives etc. This was phenomenal, as you can imagine. We also learned...
Israel. What can we say. Our lives were impacted. Impacted firstly because we came to know that we were not in Israel because we wanted to be, we were in Israel because God invited us to be there. In His holy land. All of us experienced a walk with Jesus. His footsteps, our footsteps becoming one. We realized that none of us had the same experience, God personally came and met each one of us where we were at. Exactly when He wanted to and how He wished to do so. Israel is really, truly the Holy...
As this AMAZING journey is almost coming to a end, I realise that this is only ONE of my journeys. There is always another journey to start and look forward to! And we can be sure that God has a great plan with our future! And Jesus is always walking it with us!but for now... Philippians 3:14 -"I press on to reach the end of the race and recieve the heavenly prize for which God, through Jesus, is calling us". This year so far has been the best journey I've been on. God is ABLE, but He use people to...
It all started on the 10th of Jan when 36 young strangers met each other not knowing exactly what we have got ourselves into, but nothing better than a trip to the Bush to quickly make everyone feel at home. Doing Survivor and training for the second time was such a huge revelation of how God is never the same. It is amazing how i received the same teachings than last year but how God still came down to my level for me and tought me something new daily. If I look back at training there are three Scriptures that...
It was a great 6 months. God did wonderful things as he prepared us for our next season in GCEX. We could probably write a book just on that time. God completely changed the way I thought about church and made me realise how crucial it was that church was a part of our mandate. I realised I wasn't only called for missions but for church, that the two is intertwined and that God's people is his church, not the brick-face on the corner. A township called Red Hill burned down and God used us to rebuild about 70 wooden...
