Guyana- a country I had never heard about before visiting. Crossing the border I immediately felt more at home. They drive on the right side of the road. .. the left hand side of course....the main language is English and just like in Africa we were squashed into two taxis and sent on our way down a seemingly never ending dusty road . The only Road into Guyana from Brazil, through a tropical rain forrest which is a national reserve. Eleven and a half hours later feeling like I had been attacked by a gang because of all the bumps...

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God‘s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. - Romans 12:2 I am on a wild journey with God. I am busy healing, changing and discovering myself more than ever before. God has grabbed me from my old and broken life and called me to a new life with Him. He is the God of second chances. He forgives and forgets. Jesus knows all my faults...
While we were in Lima(Peru) we had to drive to Jicamarca with a public bus just about everyday. It's about an hour's drive depending on the days traffic . On our way there Pastor George would tell us to sing a song. We would sing "Open the eyes of my heart, Lord" in English and Spanish. After the song he would point to one of the team members and ask that person to share a testimony. That was quite an interesting experience to stand up in a bus full of people and start sharing. This continued untill we got to...
It was so cool to fly into Vietnam observing its amazing night lights! We stayed in Saigon City where there are 7 million people and where 3.4 million scooters flood the streets. Crossing the streets there is such a cool experience! Cross with confidence or wait instead. In Vietnam our ministry differed a lot from other countries. We worked in 2 coffee shops, performed an acoustic show 2 times in one of the coffee shops and taught English at English classes straight from a passage in the Bible! A great way of spreading the Gospel since there is persecution. During...
Cuba has his own particular beauty: We discovered it the minute when we went out of the airport... The country being still ruled by a communist government, importation into Cuba is very expensive and difficult. Therefore, Cuban cars for example are still the same cars that the american citizen left in Cuba after Fidel Castro's revolution ! Cuban people are just being fixing again and again the broken parts. Not only the cars, but also the building are very old, and the locals way of living is also very different. It gives a filling to be back in the sixties,...
Soo yeah here I am with number 10 and it’s been quite a while since my last blog, but that is fine because God had to work first in me about a few things before the next blog can be put up and I must say it was quite a ride up to this point. So with this new blog I pray that Papa will come and show His power, grace, LOVE and faithfulness to you whiles’t reading this blog. So keep calm and read on ( I know, not the best one liners, but it’s fine ). So we...
As you read on my previous blogs my journey so far was incredible! And boom just here at the end in the last 3 months everything changed. I didn’t even think of how things can change and how I can actually go through suffering, or through difficult times, but I did and now I can also just say I made it , I’m still keen for the last 2 months , I’m still open for more of Jesus, but it took me a month to say this and to be excited for the last 2 months again. Our team...
Ladies and Gents, welcome to blog number 7. Today I felt it heavy on my heart to talk about something that, I think, people are unsure off. I also think that there are some people who are struggling in life because of it, but in any case that is what I think. I want you to open your hearts and let Jesus talk to you today. So yeah let me ask you a question first: What does it take to have a relationship with Jesus? Not sure what it takes or what you have to do to go into a...
Kosova was close to home. Coming from a farm in the Western Cape, nothing is closer to home (or my heart) then rolling hills, fields that stretch into the distance and most shades of green. God the Father knows this about me. I think He did what did in me here, because He knew I would need it. I’ve had one of the toughest weeks of my life here. On the other hand, it was one of the most refreshing and freeing weeks of my life. It was a time of becoming. Team became family. Uncertainty became adventure. Tiredness became...
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who...
