I really didn’t think I was going to get baptized this year. I was baptized as a baby and thought of it as if it was something I could just tick off in spiritual journey. Throughout this year, up until now, God showed me what the baptism is really about. I have heard teachings and I have read the Bible but never took t to heart. God opened my ears and planted it into my heart that I should get baptized. So that was what happened.
As a kid, the realization that the Supermarket name 'Pick-n-Pay' (used it so often) actually means 'you pick something and then you pay' was major! I was so proud to figure that out. Ok so in the last couple of weeks in Russia half of the team, aftrer a short break, started their second camp while the rest of us (the same group Danica blogged about) with an Austrailian missionary there headed off to a small village three hours outside of Krasnoyarsk.
