Maayong Buntag everyone…or aayong hapon / gabii depending on the time of day you are reading this blog! We have just returned from working with Church of God Arise children’s camp on Olango Island in the Vasayas region of the Philippines, on one of 7000+ islands here. The Philippino people are really lovely and we have enjoyed getting to know their cultural traits and being a part of their lives the past 8 days.

It's funny how, just a year ago, I was watching a documentary about the Amazon on the television. Halfway through the program, I changed the channel, thinking: "Why should I watch a program about a place that I'll never visit?" It's funny how The Lord works, isn't it?

Ahoi friends and family! Let me introduce you to the fast- as- lightning- very- very- frightening Silver Team... Erin, Jean, Chantelle, and Gehta. As we write this, we are sitting in an internet cafe in Ubatuba, Brazil safe and well. What a blast the past two months has been training in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa, and what a privilege it is to now be in Brazil! It was an honour to have had Joe Erwing in our last week of training. Normal 0 Today we were in Pajijiapan with the pastor and his wife who took us in.   They took us for breakfast in their restaurant and then Christine did the blog while the rest walked around in town.
