The final stretch of the 2011 Work Your Way journey took place in Egypt and Israel. Personally Cairo had a tendency to remind me a bit of India. We spend the last two weeks in the Transkei. The first week we were in Coffee Bay where we helped to renovate a small Christian school. While we were building, fixing, painting and moving around things in the school and the house of the lady who started it, God was doing the same in the houses of our souls. A Month of blessings We are currently in Senegal, Dakar with Explore Africa and I want to share the month of blessings behind us. While on Mount Sinai I prayed that God will reveal himself in a big way to myself just as he did to the Israelites during the exodus of Egypt. I prayed that he will open the red sea, give us water from a rock, be a cloud of fire of warmth during the night, guide us during the day and feed us with manna and meat.
