GOD CALLS THE YOUNG!

Faithfull Disciple GOD CALLS THE YOUNG! When Jeremiah (the prophet) was a youth, God spoke to him about his destiny. Here's what He said, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." But Jeremiah didn't think he had what it takes to actually walk in that anointing and so he replied, "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth." But the Lord didn't buy into that! Instead, He encouraged Jeremiah with these words: " Do not say , '...

China-Northbound

China-Northbound
Coming from Tropical Islands to China-Beijing is quite a shock, it’s hugely different! And I suddenly longed for the small town life I was so familiar with. But the time in China was unique; it was a stage of growth, learning, pondering and experience. Sometimes it’s difficult far from home but I know God’s purpose is far greater than I can imagine. We went to the Tibetan region for our ministry points and we met up with some amazing men and woman of God who gave up their lives back home to follow Christ. One particular guy had the potential...

Run where Jesus Walked!
Run where Jesus walked!   Finally after 3months of waiting for the right time to start my first blog for 2014 the release  came to actually write it. I am super excited for what God is going to do in this blog because in all honestly I really don’t know what to write but I know God has a plan with it. First of I will start with what God has been up to in my life these past 3months.   So for those whom don’t know this is my second journey with this blessed or ganisation and this time...

Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta
Arriving in Yogyakarta, also known as Yogya, was very exciting since we were meeting up with South African friends that would join us in ministry there. Our contact in Yogya was a pastor who linked us up with a Christian school. At the school, we shared stories from the Word with the kids and also prayed for the teachers. We helped out at a food ministry going on where they prepare food for 1200 people 3 times a week! Food preparation and packaging on big scale! The school blessed us so much with food, umbrellas, t-shirts and towels! During the...

Jamaica Mon!

Nutten. Whatever. No mon. These are the words that you'll hear when you set foot on this island, the birthplace of reggae. The landscape is as diverse as the experiences we had. Golden age home, children's home, homeless shelter, city council meeting, laying cement floors, looking for wifi, eating all the different types of mangoes, going to a cinema to watch the new Avengers movie, having patties at Tastees, ice cream at Devon House, hosting church services and prayer meetings, playing games in Emancipation park, visiting a chicken farm, going to the beach, eating ackee and salt fish with dumplings,...

Marliaan - Hawaii

Marliaan - Hawaii
Time flies when you are having fun! So, we had an option in Japan to go on an earlier flight to Hawaii and of course, I took it! We spend the whole day on the airport and flew out at 18h30 the evening of the 23 Des 2007.  We arrived at 7.30 am of the 23 Des in Hawaii! It is a great day to have over again.  We arrived in friendly Hawaii with an Aloha and were VERY tired and jetlagged!   We camped at the YWCA near the waterfront at a bay called Kaneohe Bay. The people...
