Embrace the journey

B692BDE3-41D0-40BC-B3F0-8F5861C79BE4
As you read on my previous blogs my journey so far was incredible!  And boom just here at the end in the last 3 months everything changed. I didn’t even think of how things can change and how I can actually go through suffering, or through difficult times, but I did and now I can also just say I made it , I’m still keen for the last 2 months , I’m still open for more of Jesus, but it took me a month to say this and to be excited for the last 2 months again.   Our team...

Luke 10.

It is clear that we so quickly forget the wonderful presence of the LORD JESUS.   Our busy lives makes us so aware of debt and other first world problems. And then we make all kinds of efforts to rest at JESUS's feet. But nothing makes you so humble, than to leave all behind, especially our plans and back up plans.   To go out with nothing, except faith and only faith. But faith means you look with excitement for a big miracle around every corner. And you are sure of the things not seen. You know... that assurance you...

A little late but here's my experience on Brazil.

Brazil was one of my favourite countries so far. First arriving in São Paulo my first feeling was I could definitely move here and as we went on with our journey that feeling just increased. Once arriving in Brazil our team split into 2 groups I was privileged enough to be in the group that stayed in the city and did had a ministry point in a local church. Our small group split into groups of 2 or 1 and was spread around the city being housed in people's houses form the church. The other members of the team...

Israel

I had a hard time writing this post. Not for the lack of things happening. Not for the lack of God working. Not for the lack of anything! In it's own way Israel was amazing. Visiting God's Holy Land. Getting to interact with God's bride. Getting to know how 2 different people groups get along together in one country basically split up in two. Israel was amazing. Going to Bethlehem and experiencing the birthplace of Jesus, moving along to Jerusalem and seeing where Jesus was crucified, buried and risen. That was something amazing. Experiencing God's work in me. Israel...

Panama Country #11

Panama Country #11
I love Panama! This place is just too good to be true. Pastor Bill and his wife Anne are definitely treasures who God placed on earth to shed some light on His kind of love. Awesome story: The church has a sign saying "God loves Tourists". Pastor Bill has a lot of testimonies about how 'random' backpackers or other tourists would come to church at service. We have been doing the coolest things  here. Panama is in holiday season and is known for it's diverse nature. It's packed with scientists and photographers (Germans, Aussies, Asians). Yesterday on my run I...

Hope's Garden

Hope's Garden Jeremy woke up with dust all around him, and the neighbours cat licking his toe, where he had cut it the previous night, when he stepped into a broken glass on the way to his house. Jeremy looked for something to eat, but only found green bananas. That was it, today he was going away, that is what his mother and his big sister had done. But that has been a couple of years ago, before he could tie his own shoe laces. He could see his Granny was half asleep as he walked out of the door,...

Indonesia

Indonesia
Indonesia was definitely a highlight for some of us. We met some seriously rad people.  Our schedule was jam packed. Spent the mornings at a christian elementary school teaching English and morning devotions with the classes. And had time with the awesome teachers. Some days we went to public schools and hung out with the Muslim kids too. Basically every evening was spent with the Destiny Generation church people. Like student aged. We had great times of fellowship and worshipping together, praying with everyone. We got to know them like friends, they're so cool.  Cell groups, prayer walks, teaching times. And...

Can I call you Raavi?

Israel We decided to spend a few days in Israel to rest and fill our tanks. We spent 5 days in Jerusalem, Israel. There's a SA missionary who opened her house to us. Her house is a permanent house of prayer and people come and go to pray for the peace of Jerusalem there. She took us to many places in Jerusalem to see where Jesus walked, was crucified, his tomb, where the outpouring of the holy spirit happened in the upper room, mount zion, the mount of olives etc. This was phenomenal, as you can imagine. We also learned...

I GOT BAPTIZED!

I really didn’t think I was going to get baptized this year. I was baptized as a baby and thought of it as if it was something I could just tick off in spiritual journey. Throughout this year, up until now, God showed me what the baptism is really about. I have heard teachings and I have read the Bible but never took t to heart. God opened my ears and planted it into my heart that I should get baptized. So that was what happened.
