So with training done we are sent out into the nations....and then we waited...at the airport. Airports are were people come and go. It's a place of excitement, sadness, expectations and for some a new beginning. Like a new promise that has been patiently waiting to be discovered. And this is how we feel. A new adventure on the other side of that boarding gate. A journey that will change our lives forever through the people we will meet. It feels like we only arrived yesterday for training and now we are on our way again. God has spoken words...

After an amazing time in Belize we were on our way to Mexico city to get our working permits for Canada.   After leaving Belize on a bus crossing the border to continue our journey, we went to the only bus station that have a bus to go to Mexico city... Let the Spirit talk

Tobi Basson Last night I was asked : " Yes you believe what you believe, but what about what other people believe and their religion ?" I could not think of anything, but the Spirit of the Lord that is in me, made me say this : " First I did no believe anything, but when I received the Sprit of the Lord, He made me believe. If I was not driven by the Spirit, I would not believe anything ; I would have no religion. So my God is real, for only His Spirit could change me."

Kenya

With Maasai dust forming in the background and cattlebells sounding onwords Kenya takes its place in our past now a memory set in stone as the Fort of our Savior's Name cast in stone of deep Stil waters and an atmosfere of equal lay behind as we spread wings again pointing to the stars they wait burried an age ago with secrets left.    Learnt so much and changed equaly much. *

Ke Nako

"I wonder what sort of tale we've fallen into?" - J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings)   Now I've never read the books or even watched all of 'The Lord of the Rings' - something I do regret. Nonetheless, like the quote above, I too wonder what kind of life we have stumbled upon these past 7 weeks...   I came across this quote from a book I started reading at the beginning of training - the preparation before journey for Global Challenge. The book is titled 'Epic', by John Eldredge. Looking back I realize how symbolic the book...

Brazil land of stories

Dear ones I call friends and family!                                                                                                   Swinging from my hammock on the second deck of our rather large katamarang boat, as she vibrates her way up the Amazon river, I think of the many stories that have filled my sails in the past month. Our means of passage is so...

Closer than ever: reflections after a week of survivor in Colombia After a week in the wilderness During which our day plan consisted of looking for isolation to build a shelter (suspending our Hammocks from trees that have grown tall enough) Or the majority of our day light hours were spend searching for " agua caliente" ( hot water) to make a third or forth cup of Colombian coffee,Strangers who helped us became friends,I became a Spanish speaking African Mango's were part of our staple dietBeaches are roads,Rivers are to be crossed ( while holding our backpack with our few worldly...

You said let it go

When I first joined Global I thought I was just going to be going on a trip around the world. I thought I was just going to see cool places, meet amazing people, have the adventure of a lifetime and the pictures to prove it. All of this has happened, of course, but God had much bigger plans for me than I could have imagined. I went into this journey expecting to change the lives of others but I ended up having my life changed instead. It started in training. From Survivor to guest speakers, Veritas, Luke 10, prophecy, Bible...
