How to spend Week 1 of Global Challenge.
Today was a new experience to a lot of us! We had the day off (it was Charmaine‘s birthday), spent about R55 and we were all off to the Himalayas to go on a bit of a hike to experience the true Himalayan experience… SNOW! The area is know for its poverty and soaring AIDS statistics. The teams will be serving the needy people of the Transkei at two locations: The Mahosheni AIDS Project and the Coffee Bay Christian School. The need in this area is so big and the funding too scarce to make ends meet. Please help us in our efforts to help the people of the Transkei. God Bless The GCEX Team
